It is indeed tragic...If i am not mistaken, Daresso and Marveil are the only bosses that didn't do anything bad in the past of the timeline of the game.
+Supa Copper I think that most of the bosses are good, but they made bad decisions. Voll was tricked, so was Kaom. Izaro especially. Dominus and Piety were always kinda shitty.
At age 13, carving knife in hand, I killed beasts for the amusement of the filthy. At age 15, they thought me worthy to fight a fellow man, a butcher he was, twice as big and twice as stupid as I.........I butchered the butcher.....and many like him...earned my way , kill by kill, out of the offal pit and into the GRAND ARENA.
It was quite a shame, when there is no special quotes from duelist when he goes there. Only Marauder has those for act 1 and Kaoms dream. This barbarian privilege which they copied from Diablo 2 and 3 is overrated.

I really fucking love this level, this music, Daresso himself, so eroic, so epic, so tragic... A great hero from a great game. The greatest character from the game, actually, without a doubt. Too bad basically all the main characters BUT the dualist totally hate him. Oh, well...

I don't understand why the voices at 2:03 are not repeated in a second set. The music does a perfect preparation for repeating those vocals, but sadly they go left out. WHY?????? Actually, I should say that I wish the track was drawn out to allow for a second, more-dramatic vocal set.
Andrew Rindge This is due to this part being a "drop". A drop is where the music becomes more climatic. The vocals don't sing straight after the drop because it would ruin the climax. Vocals tend to be better as leadups or droppers ("get down when the whistle blows" or "tsunami" or "spread it" if you like peanut butter). The second drop would work better with vocals yes but sometimes composers like variation. This composer probably thought "This is a repeating song so I'd like the vocal only once each time to make them used be sparingly" which works and makes it not become boring

Never before did the crowd see such use of the Virtue Gems, they watched regular gladiator battles until you, The Exile started fighting with a power that was almost godly, and eventually was proven godly.

As sole it maybe is not that impressive, but, man - when you progress through the arena this music lifts you up like nothing else. Unfortunately it stops after defeating the boss :-/

+Kai Terraforce she became corrupted after Daresso brought her a jewel from the ruins of the old empire in Wraeclast, Daresso probably tried to find a cure or something after that.
