What is your signal chain? Are you running the H9, bigsky and timeline stereo? I have the TL and BS and a Mobius and an wondering what the best way to optimize the stereo loops on the Es8. Thank you!
H9 and Mobius ran stereo into the es-8 loops. ES-8 stereo out into the TL and Big Sky stereo. The TL and Big Sky are controlled on/off via MIDI, essentially making them stereo loops 9 and 10
I've been trying to determine if the ES-8, in a single Patch can send MIDI CC# on more than 1 channel. Example, one patch can send on Midi Channel 1, CC60 AND on Midi Channel 2, CC59, AND Midi Channel 3, CC57 (as an example). Thanks!
Hello, I have a Musicomblab MKlll and I'm thinking of upgrading. Let's say you play a song set one week and want to rearrange everything for a new set list the following week. Can song patches be moved without having to set them up again? I hope this makes sense. Thank you!
What if I wanted to do patch changes as well? If I remember correctly, a patch change message won't turn Strymon pedals on if they've been previously bypassed. Is there a way to program an on/off command as well as a patch change command at the same time?
You can do both things at once: send a PC message (preset) and a CC#102 message (turn on/off) . Check this other video if still in doubt th-cam.com/video/K6A0WzlNhg4/w-d-xo.html
Hey! We make the cables here. The connectors used are these - btpa.com/05DL5M.html Here is a link to MIDI cables on our website using these. We build these to order to whatever length you'd like - btpa.com/MIDI1R-XX.html Thanks!
Super helpful. Thank you!
Excellent video! Also, my BTPA cables have just arrived, thanks! 🤘🏻🙂

My man! Great video!
Thanks man!!
How would you do the similar process with a Capistan v2 and blue sky running from the output and each pedal running midi thru a conduit?
Nice songs on Background!!!!

It definitely can.
Is it possible to control 3 unit (timeline, bigsky and Mobius and simultaneously with 1 single Boss ES-8 or boss ES-5?
Absolutely! just set the Timeline, BigSky, and Mobius to different MIDI Channels
@@BTPA_USA Thank for info.

Unfortunately, not too familiar with the MusicomLab unit

nice. Do you know if this will work on the gigrig G3?
It should work with any basic MIDI controller
Yooo, what midi cables are they? Can’t find for the life of me ones that are right angled and don’t stick out really far.

Awesome video! Any chance to get a Strymon Iridium midi Es8 video?
Thank you! Hopefully soon enough!
