the difference in culture is so weird. Looks like EU an NA always says that lineups are cringe and boring. But in Brazil we highly respect someone who has lineups because we know how much effort it takes to learn and memorize all these pixels and we`re always amazed with lineups in general. Maybe this `cringe` culture travels overseas and eventually comes to Brazil but until this date we love it.

@@lyfehaxandtrix3481 Lineups are entirely predictable, they're just impossible to stop if in a certain situation and leave no room for a skill based encounter. That's why people call it cringe, because they can do nothing about it and there's no counter play like csgo. I don't think people calling lineups "cringe" is because of ego, it's because they lose the round for something out of their control, and especially after a difficult fight onto site losing because of someone buying a 300 credit ability and remembering where to stand and look beats their skillful retake. I rather think of ego as a correlation rather than a cause of people calling it cringe.
I love how having a Brim line up is "cringe" but having a Viper lineup means you're good.

It's time for valorant community to stop calling players with line-ups "cringe". Like radiants who spend a lot of their time to get radiant, those guys also spend a lot of time learning line up to win match. And they win it for those radiants who keep calling them "cringe" too. Such a society.

It is so difficult to avoid double lineups, the molly can last so long that even if you kill them you still end up losing the round... counterplay is very minimal, needs work

@@maddoxio i don't think molly lineups are cringe but it's more on the tryhard kind of area and i have no problem with it. The reason why so many people think lineups are op and cringe is because there are no counterplay to mollies in this game. In csgo you can smoke off the molly. There is no dodging the lineups because you can just easily time it while listening to audio and callouts.

Because the difference is how you win. Wins are great an all, but the same logic can be to hack, you win. It may not be fun or fair for the enemies but at least you had fun right? Thats why people dont like it. Gamers like me who play competitive for a "competitive" experience, not cheesey shit the devs didnt think about. TLDR; Sportsmanship

@@silverfury10 Youre missing the point, like completely. I was explaining why people dont like something, not that the game wasnt either designed around it, or being the best way to win. The difference between my example and the video is correct, yes cheating, but the problem is you missed the underlying point. If winning no matter what was the goal, then no one would complain about having a cheater on the team, but the problem you face in that logic is that people on the cheaters team do ultimately call out the cheater, report them and grieft them to lose, again, my point, is about HOW YOURE WINNING, and some people dont like to be heartless, cheesey twats, they want a fair game where knowledge and skill outpaces cheese and unfairness. How many more angles can i get at my point where youll understand it?

@@silverfury10 Do you know why people dont like Icebox? Because theres so many angles and verticality for you to check, so when you add things like Icewall into the mix, it boardlines on unfair. Certain tricks that allow you to spawn kill wall bang, or the like can be seen as unfair, and those types of things, where youre abusing map geo, odin line ups through walls or unforeseen issues with game mechanics turns it from a skilled competitive game, to a 50/50 coin flip if a player is there or not, which make the game at the very least, unfun. You could probably put grim walls into "game knowledge" but when theres so many things like this, it makes the game feel worse to play, makes it feel unfun to play and thats why people, on your team or otherwise dont like it. It might be a fun video to watch, and that clip of grim shooting through a window might look cool af, but i can bet you those high rank players are pissed that they got cheesed to fuck.
The difference between Lurking and flashes are the mechanics designed around such things, flashes can be countered, and skillfully outplayed, and lurking can be countered through game knowledge and information gathering, But guessing someone is behind you is different to walking around a corner and getting blasted by an odin behind a wall, or a sage set up in a position no players should be able to get too, or an omen teleport after getting booped up by a raze. These things work sure, but are cheesey none the less. So again, my point is how people play not the outcome. And some would argue that wasting 4 smokes and letting them take point could be worse waste of utility than getting that cheesey knife in the smoke. It really depends on the type of player, how the game is going, what character youre playing ect to how people react to it. Technically you have a role to play, and some people, not all but some dont like seeing a controller lurking, or a sage with op. Obviously it can work, but some people dont like that idea of it. If youre in the mindset of let everyone play the way they want, then you have to have the same mindset of let people get annoyed at you not playing the way the game is designed for you to play. TLDR: youre thinking too narrow about things, some people dont like certain "strats".

Never realized how much people hate lineups in this game. As a CS player, I always found lineups really cool way to play if you are not that good at aiming. Block your opponents, avoid shooting, plant bomb/spike and win. Always felt like it's a common thing and it shows that someone is good, but not cringe.
Those who trashtalk are just bad at the game.
