      So did I! And what a reward-- I learned an actual method for crocheting down the sides of a blanket. I never could get "crochet evenly" done very well, LOL. So very glad I watched the whole thing!

    Lovely border; thanks! Also, you did the best job of explaining how to crochet into the ends of the rows (down the sides of a blanket) I've ever seen. Much more specific than "crochet evenly."

    Thank you, really useful instructions to show how to decide where to put the stitches around a piece of work in preparation for adding a border. I'm in the UK and use UK terms but your tutorial makes it easy to see which stitches you are using. I can see that you are clearly using UK trebles, thank you.

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm so glad you liked my border video Donna. Haha, you are not the first person to ask me why I turned the work to make the border. Honestly, at the time I didn't know it would make a difference. Thinking the pattern looked the same on both sides so why cut the yarn and start the row fresh in the upper corner beginning the row. I've learned a lot since then and would do it differently now. So, if you would like it better if you tied off the blanket at the end and then re-attached yarn for the border then please do so. I would probably do that now myself. 😊🧡🧶 Everything about this pattern would remain the same as for how you would work it up. The border would just be facing the right side and not the wrong side.

I do beads, 📿 on stretchy crystal string used to make jewelry, around the neck to make it look like the dog is wearing a necklace with her 👗. I'm a breeder and like to send my puppy parents home with a dress &/or sweater that I've made. So, I can use all the help I can get as far as a variety of different styles/patterns. I bet the video will be popular because there just aren't a good selection of them out there.

    I just completed a queen sized blanket for my granddaughter using the Suzette stitch. Since the stitch is so dense I was looking for an open stitch for the border. This is the perfect stitch. You made it so easy to follow and it’s so beautiful! Thank you so much Tiffany! You’re the best 😊🙏🏻🙌🏻

    So excited to find this channel!! I am going to make (or at least try) my first baby blanket this weekend. Is there a tutorial that I can watch to make the blanket that is in this border tutorial?

    Thank you for this beautiful blanket. I’m just wandering, why are we working the border on the back of the blanket ?

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is a great question Anna! This border is one that looks the same on both side. There is nothing really standing out about the border to make it noticeable. Also, I really liked working straight from the blanket body to the border without having to cut my yarn. However! If you would like to work the border with the blanket body facing forward feel free to cut your yarn at the end of the main blanket project. Tie off your work and re-attach your yarn in the top corner you desire to make the blanket border facing forward. 😊🧡🧶
