Huge dragon enthusiast here, this is absolutely stunning! I love how the dragon model moves, like it actually has WEIGHT behind its movement! The sound and lil feet taps when you get close to the ground are such satisfying details! I look forward to future updates!
Well I mean, Day of Dragons is a scam build on lies.... a kitbash of various assets thrown together. I make worlds for VRChat in Unity kitbashing assets I buy or find, I know what it looks like. Plus they've been outed on this many times.
This looks awesome, would suggest adding a form of transparency effect for when the wings cover the camera. I know it's inevitable that wings will get in the way bc they're massive, so something like this might help with them covering the camera and making it hard to see.
I want to try to make the camera avoid the wings and keep the center clear rather making the wings transparent. I just don't have the the time with me rushing the demo, I will defiantly look into it after.
I would like to start with wow, this looks really impressive. Specifically the animation here is extremely impressive, the locomotion is satisfying and believable at the same time, mixing video game with real life beautifully. If you are open to feedback, I would like to give some for what I personally would like to see in midair dragon combat, that basically all dragon games I've seen don't really explore. That would be more physical midair combat; things like midair grappling, claw swipes and divebombs. While shooting fireballs and breath is really cool, I think a more bird like fighting style, while certainly very difficult to make, would be more satisfying than anything else other games have to offer. This could also be a great way to add interesting combat diversity with different species; for example something a a peregrine falcon dragon that accelerates from above, diving into targets for a deadly blow. Or a hawk type of dragon, small but more maneuverable, able to catch smaller prey fast while escaping larger dragons. This along with you're talent for animation and promising game direction and I think you could have the best dragon game on the market, keep up the good work.
Thank you, I appreciate the feedback. The Wyvern is kinda limited on this front but you can bite and attack with your tail right now. You could also use the legs to grab enemies and throw them (check the video i just posted). In the four-legged version you can swipe with your claws but i think you want more dramatic version where the dragons entwine in the air and such? I think a mechanic like this is possible but i need some time to think so maybe after the demo i might try my hand at coding something like that.
@@portalworlddev That would be stunning! Already this game seems leagues apart from current dragon games with setting itself as unique. However that would really stand everything else apart as I don't think that's currently been done before by a dragon game before. You are truly making a fantastic game here with just how good everything seems to look/and feel when doing actions or interactions between terrain and flight mechanics. Just... bravo!
the tail ought to be a little stiffer/heftier when moving around. Tails are usually used as a sort of counterweight/rudder, so having them waving around like a flag in the wind isn't all that good. it is also a mass of muscle, bone and heavy scales, so it's important that its weight can be felt.
Zamn love it, only thing that bother me is wing membrane size. It should be atleast long to tail where it meet body. But eh, everyone make their own dragons right? I would love to test and play it. Hope it gonna be good

Glorious.
A true dragon's flight. Free and fierce.
wow this already looks better than Day of Dragons! keen for the future of this game.

This really does look amazing^^ I'm really excited when it becomes playable❤
The flight mechanics scratch the itch in my brain so good

I love how amazing your work has become, keep it up.
Can’t wait to play it.

It’s good seeing nobody in the comment section scream “it’s actually a wyvern, not a dragon!”

This is looking very nice!

I wonder what same sized flight combat looks like
yessir
Rainbow fire breath? What kind of dragon is this one I never saw it before?.

OK, this is extremely impressive because flying AI is notoriously hard to program. Keep up the good work 👍
ОЧень круто. Физика отличная. Конечно есть над чем поработать, но ты молодец.
Dragon lover here, is extending it to console platforms anywhere on the plans for the future???
I hope so! There aren't enough cool, simple games like these on the consoles
Yeah, I plan to port the game to consoles once i finish the pc version.
@@portalworlddev Awesome!!! 😊
is this will be pvp or pve?
So, can you... uh... romance other dragons?
^ The important questions.
What the fuck
