Worry sounds so good. A Short Walk Through a Wide World was fantastic. I listened to it - they did a great job with the audio. Hope you all are having a lovely weekend.
Oh okay. You recommend A Short Walk - Need to pick it up soon. I have been listening to a lot more books. It has been a lovely few days. :) Hope you are well my friend.
Lots of interesting picks here! I just got Worry from the library last week. I love Astra Taylor's work, but I didn't know they were releasing a new book - so, I'm glad I saw this. Adding to my TBR now!
The City of Stardust sounds like a cool fantasy read. A Barnes and Nobles near me was shut down YEARS AGO... so ODDLY enough, I shop for books at my local Dollar Tree. I surprisingly stumbled upon a small section in the in the STATIONARY section of the store. Surprisingly they have some pretty good books... ... My favorite Genre is Fantasy. So I grab whatever fantasy they have on stock. The last fantasy I found was Rage by Cora Carmack.. It was pretty good. And it was the last review I posted on my channel...🍄🎠🎡🎪⚓🌈⚡🌠🎭🪞🧴🧙🏽♂🦹🏽♂🧚🏽🧚🏽♂🧚🏽♀🧞♂🧞♀🧞🧝🏽♂🧝🏽🧜🏽♀🧜🏽♂🧜🏽🤴🏽👸🏽
Worry was the only one I’d heard of-it’s absolutely on my TBR, and I’ve added Fervor too! I recently read the new releases In Universes by Emet North and In Tongues by Thomas Grattan, and highly recommend them 😊
Two books you might like Russell A Botanical Daughter by Noah Medlock ( Frankenstein mixed with Botany) The Mars House by Natasha Pulley ( refugees on Mars)

I am reading A Short Walk Through a Wide World, and I am loving it! I am currently half way through!

Loved In Tongues! It was so good. I am glad that Fervor made your list, I don’t think anyone is talking about it.
Two books you might like Russell
A Botanical Daughter by Noah Medlock ( Frankenstein mixed with Botany)
The Mars House by Natasha Pulley ( refugees on Mars)
I am already on the look out for the Mars House. I have never heard of A Botanical Daughter.
as soon as i saw you on screen my thought was that summer had come to your spot on earth...
I am so predictable. LOL - But warm weather leads to more reading… and naps.
I just finished The Husbands by Holly Gramazio. I really liked it but I don't know what genre I would put it in.
I agree , hard to place The Husbands. I enjoyed it, but was surprised how heavy the ending was.
I knew it was hot as soon as I saw your tank top. A few of these sound good, especially Worry.
lol. I know - I am so predictable. I hope you pick up Worry. I don’t know many that are reading it.
What book did you pick for BOTM May 2024?
I think I got Middletide. I already had Real Americans. Which I am over 3/4 through and I am loving.
