In the books, he's portrayed as a very shy and nervous cat, and no one takes him very seriously except his best friends. No one, not even his friends understand the extent of his trauma and I think it really shows how horrible it was for him, before he found barley and made a home with him. Throughout the books, he was just as braves as fireheart or graystripe, even though he was by keeping himself together like that. I love the end where he still remembers his best friends and his clan, but his mind is at ease when he passes away with barley next to him. ❤️
I think the main thing that made me respect firepaw when I first started reading the books was how he was just,, instantly ride-or-die with ravenpaw. No hesitation, no complaints or accusations, just _"alright let's smuggle you out, set you up in the kitness protection program, fake your death alright lets go lets go lets go go go-"_
He was the best in the first series because he was so passionate about what he believed in, and he wasn’t going to compromise himself for ANYONE he didn’t back 100%. He instantly went “we’re best friends” with Ravenpaw and Graystripe
I'm so excited! Ravenpaw is just relatable boy, his story is awsome, his character is wonderfully developet even for a side character! I love his relationship with Barley, I love that he gave us a perspective on the life of a cat outside the clan. When I read "Ravenpaw's Farewell," I cried so much. I have a cold heart, I don't cry on books, but it was something else. Ravenpaw has suffered a lot in his life. Someone who was supposed to be his hero, his guide.... He turned out to be a murderer. He was afraid to confess it because he knew he would be killed. But he survived with friends's help. He fell in love with Barley and they were mates for the rest of their lives. Ravenpaw is adorable and deserves all the happines.
To me HE IS NO SIDE CHARACTER. He is a piece of the story ith out him it couldn't move along which I suppose is a side character but he was my favorite and he always will be

the first time ive ever cried in a book was when i was reading the end of CrookedStars Promise. When CrookedStar said ''How can I love you when everyone I love leaves me?'' and then Oakheart replies with ''Im still here.'' I JUST BROKE DOWN (SPOILER) BECAUSE IN THE FIRST BOOK OAKHEART DIES SO THAT MEANS HE LEFT CROOKEDSTAR
I really miss the books where it was just Firepaw, Graypaw and Ravenpaw together, the trio of friends. I will forever have nostalgia of them together and I think they were amazing characters. Ravenpaw really had a rough time at the beginning and I respect him a lot. I can't even put into words how fictional cats can have such an impact on my life.
I TOTALLY AGREE!! on the bright side, Ravenpaw visits Their clan in some of the books and helps Firestar with problems like when scourge tried to take over the forest or whatever.

I feel like Barley understands how he feels with his trauma because of how Barley had trauma too. I feel like Barley understands RavenPaw better then FirePaw/FireStar and GrayPaw/Stripe because of how much tie they have spent together. It is quite beautiful.
Tayplets's part at 1:39 with the feather was absolutely heartbreaking in the most beautiful and poetic way, his frantic scramble to hold onto the feather and barley gently reaching out to lay a paw on ravenpaw's was so well put together
I haven't even read all the warrior cat books, but I still love this MAP. Especially how he finally let's go of all his trauma, fear, and troubles when he releases the feather
Raven'Paw actually probably would have made a pretty good warrior, he literally caught an ADDER as an apprentice! When he finally calmed down after being with barley for a while, he was a great cat. Very caring and pretty clever too, he didn't deserve that bad apprenticeship.
I love how he carried his lil simbolic feather through the tough times, it reminded me of like a sentimental plush or really important item he would take everywhere

first of all, this whole thing is beautiful and so well put together and oh gosh i just love all the parts!! second of all, my theory of the feather is that it symbolises ravenpaw's memory of tigerstar that he can't seem to let go off because sometimes fear as an emotion can get addictive or at least can turn into a trap, and when ravenpaw is scared or is in danger, he keeps defaulting to remembering tigerstar, and going back on old habits like making himself as small as possible for example, and he doesn't want to let go of his terror because it feels like protection; because what kind of danger will he be in if he lets himself relax, lets himself be caught off guard with good feelings?
Every time I watch this I tear up. This is one of the most amazing MAPs I’ve ever seen. I’ll watch this when I need to be alone, cry, or feel spiritual. Thank you for this MAP.

1:27 Staring intensifies All jokes aside, this is a really amazing map. The song fits my little ravenboi so perfectly, and I love how the feather symbolizes his emotional crutch, like a teddy bear or a special pillow. This map is amazing and all its animators did an amazing job. I feel really bad for Ravenpaw and having to go through that kind of trauma, but like the song says he's okay, and he finally became safe with Barley, and he died a peaceful death beside the one he cherished most. ♡ this map
I love that Ravenpaws Story acknowledges other ways of living. At first in the books, to live in the clans is the only right way to live and be, to be free, because to live with humans is bad and stray cats are portrayed as filthy. But Ravenpaw is the cat that shows for the first time that one can be happy without.

This and Panic Room are my favorite warriors maps. Oh wow they're both about my favorite character- Anyway, this map is amazing! It highlights parts that happened in the book (obvi) but then added the feather as symbolism. I love it! It's amazing! (My favorite part is 0:49)
In my opinion, Ravenpaw was braver than Graystripe or even Firestar. He persevered through a toxic relationship and left when he knew it was more than enough for him to put up with. He was scared by his past, but not deciding his future. He had a healthy relationship and even though ThunderClan once housed the one who had wronged him, he still helped them. His story is one of letting go, leaving toxic relationships, forgiveness, knowing the past doesn’t shape your future, and not judging one by another’s actions.
The fact that the feather symbolizes his trauma and the guilt is so sad but he finally lets it go which means he lets go of all of the guilt of Redtail's death. That is just so sad but he had a good life with Barley. I love you Ravenpaw!!

This was made 1 year ago and I still love watching this over and over again. I adore Ravenpaw and it broke my heart to read the piece where he joined Barely in his barn and left ThunderClan. If only he hadn’t witnessed Tigerclaw/star killed Redtail…. Moving on, this is amazing and I love the smooth animation and the way this portrays Ravenpaw and his trauma
I come back to this map whenever I'm facing hardships, it's gotten me through so much and is currently helping me with the loss of my cat. Ty to everyone that put this beautiful piece together

Oh my gyatt, Barley and Ravenpaw are just the best duo for me. The fact that both of them went through trauma and comforted each other through friendship and love is so heart-warming bro :D. And also, smt I've noticed (what im about to say is about the cat's fur, not anything else) is that Ravenpaw is a black cat with a minimum amount of white fur, and Barley is the one that is white with a minimum amount of black fur 🍙🐼

I really like this MAP! Everyone's so talented- I could never! WOW. I like Ravenpaw the most out of any other character from the first arc; his development, even as a side character was so well done. Well done to everyone who took part in this MAP it's astonishing, truly it is.
I- I must of watched this video 100 times now because it’s so beautiful. Raven Paw is my favourite character or one of mine. This video is perfect and the song it just so perfect! When I was reading the books and he got all this blame, and the fact everyone believed TigerClaw I was so sad and upset 😭 I just can’t imagine what he went through, and I’m so HAPPY he found Barley and he passed away peacefully with him. This is to emotional for me… RavenPaw and so many other cats taught me so many important lessons in life… RavenPaw is just relatable, and perfect and strong and brave, as brave as anyone else.

Ravenpaw is one of my favorites, if I think about it. He deserved to be free from the constant dread, and I do not think he was a coward to leave an enviroment he felt uncomfortable in. I wish the newer books portrayed more healthy ideas like this, so far it's just Ivypool's mate (Fernsong was it?) being a tom that enjoys caring for kits and could stay behind in the nursery.

This MAP, and even crow feather makes me wan't to cry cause im proud of how he could step up and finally find somewhere to call home. And like the creator of this MAP said his loyalty stil stands which makes me even more proud. For anyone like me who had to experience things like toxic realationships seeing this make me not just relate but bond with this character and i've listened to this MAP even when im sad, i guess this map cheers me up saying 'ravenpaw was strong, i can be too!' ^^

So- now I really need to get Ravenpaws farewell, I have read all the series's of books Erin Hunter has published, at least of warrior cats. From into the wild to Broken code, and I am just thoroughly in love with Warrior cats generally. This map shows that every character even those who had a short period being [somewhat] main character, ahem Ravenpaw, from the first book, it shows how much they can still develop and be a part of the story even in a different world. I give thanks to all of the animators who contributed to this project, it is a magnificent piece. With the lighting and graphics, and the design of each cat separately is amazing and the song just fits perfectly.

second of all, my theory of the feather is that it symbolises ravenpaw's memory of tigerstar that he can't seem to let go off because sometimes fear as an emotion can get addictive or at least can turn into a trap, and when ravenpaw is scared or is in danger, he keeps defaulting to remembering tigerstar, and going back on old habits like making himself as small as possible for example, and he doesn't want to let go of his terror because it feels like protection; because what kind of danger will he be in if he lets himself relax, lets himself be caught off guard with good feelings?
Every time I watch this I tear up. This is one of the most amazing MAPs I’ve ever seen. I’ll watch this when I need to be alone, cry, or feel spiritual. Thank you for this MAP.

All jokes aside, this is a really amazing map. The song fits my little ravenboi so perfectly, and I love how the feather symbolizes his emotional crutch, like a teddy bear or a special pillow. This map is amazing and all its animators did an amazing job. I feel really bad for Ravenpaw and having to go through that kind of trauma, but like the song says he's okay, and he finally became safe with Barley, and he died a peaceful death beside the one he cherished most. ♡ this map
I love that Ravenpaws Story acknowledges other ways of living. At first in the books, to live in the clans is the only right way to live and be, to be free, because to live with humans is bad and stray cats are portrayed as filthy. But Ravenpaw is the cat that shows for the first time that one can be happy without.

Anyway, this map is amazing! It highlights parts that happened in the book (obvi) but then added the feather as symbolism. I love it! It's amazing! (My favorite part is 0:49)
In my opinion, Ravenpaw was braver than Graystripe or even Firestar. He persevered through a toxic relationship and left when he knew it was more than enough for him to put up with. He was scared by his past, but not deciding his future. He had a healthy relationship and even though ThunderClan once housed the one who had wronged him, he still helped them. His story is one of letting go, leaving toxic relationships, forgiveness, knowing the past doesn’t shape your future, and not judging one by another’s actions.
The fact that the feather symbolizes his trauma and the guilt is so sad but he finally lets it go which means he lets go of all of the guilt of Redtail's death. That is just so sad but he had a good life with Barley. I love you Ravenpaw!!

This was made 1 year ago and I still love watching this over and over again. I adore Ravenpaw and it broke my heart to read the piece where he joined Barely in his barn and left ThunderClan. If only he hadn’t witnessed Tigerclaw/star killed Redtail…. Moving on, this is amazing and I love the smooth animation and the way this portrays Ravenpaw and his trauma
I come back to this map whenever I'm facing hardships, it's gotten me through so much and is currently helping me with the loss of my cat. Ty to everyone that put this beautiful piece together

Oh my gyatt, Barley and Ravenpaw are just the best duo for me. The fact that both of them went through trauma and comforted each other through friendship and love is so heart-warming bro :D. And also, smt I've noticed (what im about to say is about the cat's fur, not anything else) is that Ravenpaw is a black cat with a minimum amount of white fur, and Barley is the one that is white with a minimum amount of black fur 🍙🐼

Ravenpaw is one of my favorites, if I think about it. He deserved to be free from the constant dread, and I do not think he was a coward to leave an enviroment he felt uncomfortable in. I wish the newer books portrayed more healthy ideas like this, so far it's just Ivypool's mate (Fernsong was it?) being a tom that enjoys caring for kits and could stay behind in the nursery.

This MAP, and even crow feather makes me wan't to cry cause im proud of how he could step up and finally find somewhere to call home. And like the creator of this MAP said his loyalty stil stands which makes me even more proud. For anyone like me who had to experience things like toxic realationships seeing this make me not just relate but bond with this character and i've listened to this MAP even when im sad, i guess this map cheers me up saying 'ravenpaw was strong, i can be too!' ^^

So- now I really need to get Ravenpaws farewell, I have read all the series's of books Erin Hunter has published, at least of warrior cats. From into the wild to Broken code, and I am just thoroughly in love with Warrior cats generally. This map shows that every character even those who had a short period being [somewhat] main character, ahem Ravenpaw, from the first book, it shows how much they can still develop and be a part of the story even in a different world.
I give thanks to all of the animators who contributed to this project, it is a magnificent piece. With the lighting and graphics, and the design of each cat separately is amazing and the song just fits perfectly.
