Pro Grids is added by default in unity 2022 so I just have to add pro builder

@@errorflux the usasaki avatar can be found on booth. literally just search it up and it works great (super begininer friendly too, really well setup) I have it as the base I use for my main and I love it.
This tutorial is by far one of the best tutorials for making a VRChat world I’ve seen. It’s quick, understandable, and gets down the information that people are going to use when they are starting their first world, as well as including assets and how to attain them. It also helps that you covered the terrain tool as before this video I had trouble understanding how to do terrain.

In Unity 2022 version Progrids is in by default. It’s in the upper left corner of your scene tab. Probuilder still needs imported though,

I just learned to put together my own avatars. So far I made 2 fully customized avatars. Since I've done that, I've been obsessing about getting started making worlds. I messed around with blender a lot in the past, it's just very overwhelming imo, a lot of info coming at you all at once. Since I am more accustomed to unity, I think I'll start here. Ty for the vid. Let the journey begin!

Can't see the Advanced button in Package Manager in Unity 2022 so I added the progrids by clicking the plus icon in the upper left corner selecting Add package by name and typed com.unity.progrids. It is experimental in 2022 version.
Ye so in the 22 version pro grids is obsolete bc of the snapping that is in the base editor but if u like the ease of pro grids that that is the perfect way to do it
Builder pro can act differently on the new sdk too video was recorded b4 the new one dropped rip I alr have to update lol 😭

If ur the 2021 version ur good u don't need it all u need is pro builder

That means that the package was installed but not imported

@@lastunikorin ok u are most likely using the 2022 version which has a lot of updates and changes this video was done wt the 2019 version B4 the 22 version was released

Didn't own the model apparently the owner of the one I used uploaded it publicly without permission so ye it got taken down and well... I'm not payin for it lol

As someone who made a basic first world the other year, this is a nice easy refresher for me and I have easily picked up some of the tricks I knew before. I just needed reminding and this helped with that alot, I really want to make a chill world for my friends.

If you are going to use unity 2022 version, you do not need progrids, you have a grid stystem built into unity.

So you say Progrids is just now built in, but I still can't access it. No Advanced on Package manager, not in the tools menu...
Objects natively snap to a grid that is all progrids is u just need pro builder if u installed it then reset if the tools aren't showing up
how do i make something grabbable and a physics object
Rigidbody component wt is kinematic off and gravity on and don't for get a collider on it
U also need the pick up component on it that I showed in the vid

Dang I love how your tutorial is made and edited but sadly my layout is different then yours so I don’t have advanced settings for pro-grids nor can I make hills and stuff by moving the terrain but thank you for the video still.
Advance settings is somewhere else and progrids is built into unity it is just the snap to grid controls default u just need to ad probuilder

Only 2 months old and everything is already out of date thanks to Unity's menu changes. Currently using version 2022.3.6f1
Was a pain to get ProGrids installed, now I can't figure out how to even open those menus as there's no Tools drop down menu >

U have to click download and then install
@@Rabbi32I did, turns out the Tools menu wouldn't show up for some reason. I went to check to make sure it was installed right, and didn't even get that far. Tools was right up there at the top. I'll just say it's Unity being Unity and doing weird things. XD
