Joe may not have the biggest and strongest arm nor the fastest legs… but he has the mind, heart, and grit of a champion. This is only his beginning. Let’s go, Joe!!
As a Chargers fan I was envious that Bengals made it, I would kill for such a season. I love to see it nonetheless and I was happy that Cincy has much to root for. I hope teams who haven't won it yet get theirs soon.
I've been team homeless ever since the chargers left San Diego. Haven't paid much attention to football the last few years as a result, but seeing burrow play really got me into it again. I really want to see burrow and the Bengals win now.
Didn't even mention that the Bengals had never won a road playoff game in their history. Really looking forward to seeing what Joe can do in the future.
I've lived just outside Cincy for 11 years now, followed the Steelers from my birth state of PA, but Joe Burrow's electrifying play, not to mention his heart and genuineness (not to mention Evan McPherson's) made me pick up my newfound home's team this postseason. I might just be a Bengals fan from now on.
I'm personally a Chiefs but when I saw Joe Burrow rally his team to win and comeback against the chiefs, I was in aw at what he could do, it is amazing what he can do on and off the field, and I honestly wasn't sad when the Chiefs lost, I wanted Joe and his Bengals to win the SB. He deserves it. Too bad it didn't happen, but he will definitely win one eventually.
Some HUGE details were left out. When he was at OSU it was a QB battle between him and Dwayne Haskins. Also not mentioned, the Bengals hadn't won a playoff game in 31 years. He not only won that but beat a KC team for the AFC championship that just had an insane win over the Bills. That LSU team, his senior year may be the greatest offenses of all time. AND he's cool af... He's magic.
@@Commodore22345 eh, Ohio State didn't force him to resign. Him leaving also had nothing to do with Joe Burrow. Dwayne Haskins had an incredible season and was a top draft pick. I haven't met many people who blame Meyer for picking Haskins over Burrow. Hindsight is 20/20. While Haskins was having an incredible season Burrow did alright. It wasn't until his senior year that heads began to turn.
@@Commodore22345 yeah I can see what you're saying. This channel has a video about Meyer with the Jags as well. That one opened my eyes to what a jerk he really is. As an OSU fan, I'm really happy with what he did for the program and the structure he left but you're probably right. If he didn't retire he likely would have been fired or investigated later.
@@jaysonp9426 Okay for your information Dwayne haskins was horrible yeahhe's a good quarterback But not like Burrow he came off a National championship win at LSU while haskins struggle that game against washington plus new guy Justin fields that youve probably shoulda mentioned had a Perfect year than haskins & JT barret has he went undefeated & almost played Lsu in the national title game & woulda been a good game to see
I like Joe... seems like a good guy. I know people made fun of him for his comment on his necklace being real, but he's still a young guy who doesn't know how relentless people can be for saying something that he thought was not a big deal... I hope he wins the Super Bowl one day then he'll be one of the few QBs who has ever won the college championship 🏆 game and the big one in the NFL; coincidentally, the only QBs (as the starter) to do that were also named Joe: The iconic Joe Namath & another guy by the name of Joe Montana.
Also forgot to add he lost his state championship in high school, but grinded back to winning the national championship in college. He’s already shown many times how much he can take a hit and get back up
Coming back from a near career ending injury to lead the league in completion percentage and throwing for 4,600 yards and 34 touchdowns shows there is something special about Burrow
Something the 2020 draft has going for it QB wise is that it did produce at least 2 first round stud QBs in Herbert and Burrow. Now, Herberts arguably more talented, but like so many say, Burrow has the kind of shark eyed look that shows he has drive and guts. Either way both QBs are gonna be amazing to watch in the NFL, maybe they’ll find themselves meeting in the playoffs occasionally.
The thing is, raw talent isn't the mark of a good QB. Burrow is a lot better in all the ways that matter. Of course, combining the arm of Mahomes with the mind of Brady would be idea, but it's the mind that matters. The ability to throw a perfect 70 yard TD at the end of a game makes for storybook moments, but the best QBs avoid getting in the kinds of situations where it's necessary to thread a needle across the field.
@@DrDizzleFrizzle I do slightly agree, but Herbert does have a great QB mind, he was able to put up amazing numbers his rookie year with a bottom quality o-line. And you could argue most his loses that season were because of his coaching staff. This year you can slightly say that too, finding yourself having to convert 4th downs so much shows moreso that the offensive play calling isnt working the first 3 downs and needs the players to bail them out. But I do agree Burrow has the better mind.
He makes up for his flaws with pure instinct that can’t be taught he know third down sacks don’t matter unless there in field goal range so he is given the all clear to absolutely gamble slinging it 45 yards
Joey got that dawg in him. As a Washington fan I was watching that game we broke him, real talk I felt hella bad because this dude is the real deal. I'm glad he bounced back. Cincy y'all gotta chip comin it's just a matter of time.
LOL, what a great player and he looks like he's still 18 years old, only thing can hold this magician back is injuries. And surely the Bengals know that so they'd better start drafting, trading or whatever it takes for some offensive blockers. Now I just know the Jaguars are gonna get some blockers for Lawrence no matter what it takes.
I feel like if you have a future as the head of an offense you might need a lineage of fellow offensive leaders or a similar one of defensive minds. You either grow up hearing how you break a defense or how they're trying to keep their defense from breaking.
I’m a fair weather football fan these days, don’t follow it close at all. But I love seeing good guys like Burrow and Brock Purdy taste success so young. Their a great example for everyone else. Class acts, true sportsman, and also care more about their reputation off the field then on it.
Might very well already be the end if the bengals continue to let him get sacked 7 times a game. Regardless of that, i don't think he'll win a ring. It's just the hype train that starts when a young qb dominates for a season, but that doesn't mean that he'll be fighting for sbs five years from now. Just look at Cam, luck, wentz, jackson, willson...
@@lordbrady8117 well to fix it in the draft with picks 31 and 63 isn't easy. But yeah they would have a whole lot of cap space to make moves in free agency. So let's wait and see.
