Many moons ago, my then girlfriend's father invited Rita and Kris Kristofferson to Charlotte, where they performed at Carowinds, and partied on the second floor of a building at the entrance. Rita could not be more beautiful and charming. Kris could not be more inebriated. The Rhodes scholar liked himself some boozes. He's a great guy otherwises, I'm sure. Too bad he was somewheres else that night. Thanks for playing lovely Rita. I love me some Rita...who looked a lot like my sweet princess. The pretty type. Like you.

If you don't already know these: Since you like story tellers, Bob Seger. Turn The Page is his "life on the road" song, but you might find that depressing. You could try Roll Me Away or Main Street for starters. Lynyrd Skynyrd. Definitely start with Simple Man. Gimme Three Steps. The Ballad of Curtis Loew. You've probably heard Sweet Home Alabama and Freebird. Rush. You will not believe how much sound 3 guys could make. Maybe start with Limelight or Spirit Of Radio. Neil Peart was the drummer and brilliant lyricist. One of the best drummers ever, if not the best. He passed away just over 2 years ago.

She and PMJ absolutely slay the song - she was trained in opera at Juilliard and then went on to musical theater and now sings R&B and covers many songs to great effect. Then react to The Warning, a power trio formed by three sisters who are taking the You Tube and concert trail by storm! Listen to their songs "Choke" and "Evolve". This would be a Fantastic Ladie's Night!!! You are missing something spectacular if you miss these!!!!! Be there or be square!!

Unfortunately is 29 minutes long BUT It is divided into 3 impressions. Each one great in it's own right and very engaging. Studio versions because there is only live video of the 3rd impression from the Calif. Jam 1974. (and live video of part 2 of the 1st impression same concert). Any other video is devoid of the greatness. They were called a super-group with the Greatest of all time keyboard player Keith Emerson, according to Keyboard magazine's poll every year for 40 straight years. Also included a great drummer, Carl Palmer, and singer/guitar player, Greg Lake.
