@@DivineBanana Sorry , I didn't think i actually had enough time to respond back since i was in a hurry. What I'm saying that is that the deck is not even bad, but I have played enough games to see that the deck that he played is easily crushed by mine solely because of the monk. Don't get me wrong the monk ability with a executioner and tornadoes defending e golem and what-not is not bad, but using the monk to deflect a rocket is where the deck crumbles. I can go on a finer detail if you like :D
@@DivineBanana just released I didn't answer the question, a freeze on the rocket counters it. And 1 game when I did place it up the bridge, some1 placed 3 musk. Of all things and shredded my rocket. So, if u purely rely on the move. Loss will be eminent. The clutch is still amazing though.
@@blackid4752 that's what I was trying to explain, It is 100% depending on the situation. Placing any unit high like that always makes it vulnerable to ranged units like musketeers. That's just clash 101. However, in this situation sirtag knew his opponents cards and card cycle and knew he had no ranged counters to a high rocket. Which again, is why I said, in the moment that decision making was S Tier. There is a reason he didn't do it every time, because as you say, of course it would get countered by range cards.

Honestly, this has to be the worst seasonal game mode cr has ever had. I played this deck: e-golem, prince, battle healer, night witch, evo wizard, rage, arrows, and rocket silo. Including a few warm up games, I went 15-1 in under 30 minutes, ALL OF WHICH WERE 3 CROWNS. My only loss was because I didn’t support my e-golem pushes with the healer enough, but my point is, this challenge was so easy if you use a 3-crown deck like this since no one is prepared to defend and the rocket silo is so expensive. Just absurd 😂

Didn't watch the full video yet but some tips for you guys:
Monk is trash don't use it. If you do, the enemy will tornado it and you will lose for his faster cycle (most times it won't happen, but dont give it a chance)
Best deck for cycle race is ice instead of tornado, cuz if you ice the last rocket right before it launches you will delay it (it only works right before the launch) and it also counters the monk. But if you try to ice the last rocket you will need other minor spell, than you have only one card to defend against other decks, so it's worth it to take the risk
You can try to apply the same concep with ice spirit but the timing is realy hard (espirit same thing but even harder)
If you use any other deck, don't go for fast pushs after the enemy places the rocket. The rocket will help him distracting your cards (and you won't destroy it) and he has lots of 1 elixir cards to defend with low elixir. If you can't take one tower one your first push you lose. So go for a big push with cards behind tge tower and your oponent will have a harder time. If you take one tower use the space you got in oponent field to destroy his rockets, barbs and ebarbs are great for that, but give them some support because the enemy will try to defend the rocket
Nah @Sirtag’s deck is better, just went 12 and 0 with it and beat someone who froze my monk. I just tricked him and played an executioner and he thought it was a monk and froze it and then I played mono and blocked him
Ye, honestly op beatdown deck especially giant prince Evo wizard is a guaranteed win. They are already losing when they put down the rocket while you slowly build up a big push. They would need at least three rockets to win. You can build around three pushes while spamming at the bridge. They can't stop it.
I went 12-0 using this deck and these strategies. I didn't bother to use the monk deflecting any rockets. Just cycled faster and tornado their monks. Great deck. Thanks again Sir
i literally watched only 5 games of yours and immediately hopped on to the game before people start using it 😛 12-2 done. lost matches where opponent took 1 tower and put barb on pocket to kill the rocket, and a mirror matchi one where i had neither monk nor tornado in first hand.

This deck simply loses to anyone who has a cycle deck with nado in it.
Monk is simply not worth it to play ever, because you can always nado before it pops and then it’s a +3 trade for them, 5+1 for monk and ability vs 3 for nado. I understand you might think monk would be good against bad players but that’s just hoping your opponent can’t hit a reaction time that’s frankly quite forgiving
Freeze instead of monk in this deck and I think it’s pretty good
@@vassscoo4469 no actually, since in an optimally played matchup you won't have time to freeze their rocket as well as nado the tower, you have to do one or the other. You have exactly 6 elixer to work with after you place the last rocket, before your opponent's rocket lands (if you freeze it). this means you need to have freeze + rage or snowball or zap instead, or some other 2 elixer small spell for that last 24 damage on king tower

Elixir golem decks have no chance against this deck.
Anyone try to clone it yet??? The rocket? Gonna boot up and try, was already doing a spirit deck with Barrel Barb and Zap and it was just TOO easy. Cycle Rocket thrice n shock, done. I got bored so if anyone ELSE gets bored and wants to break the meta....DON"T play the rocket at all...load up the deck with beatdown giants of your choices. I used Evo Royal Giant, Goblin Machine, Skeleton King, Mother Witch, Mega Knight (later changed to Arrows), Inferno Dragon, Goblin Curse. OMG its kind of fun raining on the rocket parade ROFL. Damn, Clone doesn't work...I saw there was no mirror. For how willy nilly they are with this vehicle of a game I'm surprised they ever remove cards from challenges...and also how many sheep are playing the same decks...love that we get direction from you and others but sometimes it reminds me how uncreative these players are in this community, no offense intended....they're making it all this way.

OK, so I'm adding to the selfie thread. Dropped the MK and using Arrows as much more economical and even the MK can't stop the RG from taking half a tower down when the naturally ALL almost drop that rocket nonsense lol...so I roll over them instead. Fastest so far 3 crown in 39seconds, previous was 1m6sec. No one expects it. Drop RG, hopefully have goblin curse to respond to skellies etc, then either ID or MW but both need to be dropped for the full rapid effect in the correct order for agg. Have you noticed that if you use BOTH Goblin Curse and Witches curse, they spawn BOTH response units??...the scourge is real. Oh and it's really only your Monk Disciples stopping it, punk :P Good deck bud!

They don’t even need freeze. If you play a monk +ability and they tornado it you’ve just spent 6 elixir they spent 3 so they can out cycle you to the last rocket with 1 elixir cards every time
But this freeze deck sucks against decks that don't use rocket cycle as the win condition, not worth using it and you will not play against it very often
Btw you can try to use that idea with ice spirit but the timing is realy hard, and if you dont you will just draw so no problem
You can use your monk to cancel their rocket unless they use tornado too

First off, much respect @SirTag thank you for your content which is always top tier.
This challenge was one of the rare cases where I do disagree with you though, you said there are only 3 decks, elixir golem, your deck, and trash. But I found that ignoring the silos and capitalizing on opponents reliance was a strong option. The thesis of the deck is to punish the opponent for the huge elixir cost of Rocket Silo + Monk Counter, take down one princess tower, then control the middle destroying opposing rockets before they can launch.
Deck I used was Evo Recruits, Monk, Minion Horde, Goblin Barrel, Princess, Ram Rider, Arrows. You are a stronger deck builder than I am and have no doubt you could improve my choices. For context on my skill, I'm a low level ultimate champion player most seasons, not top 1000 material, so "not bad". With this strategy I was able to beat both the deck you showcase on this stream as well as the egolem deck.
Some strategy notes.
1. Ok to ignore the first rocket if you have to but beyond that still try to counter rockets with monk as possible.
2. Since you aren't building rockets, every time they counter your Monk its a -4 elixir trade for them (with tornado) or -5 (with freeze). With great monk timing tornado counter often misses for an even bigger swing and no tower damage.
3. Since you aren't building rocket silos and they are, you have a huge elixir advantage. Try to use it to take down at least one tower.
4. With 1 tower down, control the middle to destroy any silos they build, especially with minion horde.
5. If opponent relies on rocket silos as their win condition, you can often win on time even if you stalemate, they are trying to three-crown you, so as long as you can survive you'll win on time.
One downside was a slower cycle, so it was critical to take a tower and get access to the middle. This deck did especially well with recruits able to crunch past the flurry of 1 costs that most players were throwing out and add value.
I have 100% certainty that a better deck could be built on the same concept, but I think "don't play rocket silos" was a great strategy for me to reach 12 wins. Best to you and thank you for all the content.
Yeah, this is the first time i think ur deck isn't optimal. Monk is easily countered by nado or freeze at a good timing and u will lose the rocket race againt similar decks by being down elixir. Plus, even if u don't go for the monk u will lose cause they'll freeze your rocket and zap tower if necessary and rocket placed all the way close to the river can be easily countered if they themselves don't go for their rocket.
So use freeze instead of nado, rage or zap instead of monk...
I just put egolem + Prince + Ice + tornado + witch mother, and destroyed everyone. 12-0

After playing this mode for long enough I realised playing monk for deflecting isn't optimal as they will always nado or freeze it and you are down elixir. So you will lose the rocket race. So if we are not using monk to deflect nado we can use other card instead of monk to defend heavy pushes like egolem. And best card replacement imo is minipekka or minion horde. Especially horde. As they don't run arrows so much in egolem decks. There are more rage spell in there. So horde does kill their stuff. And mini pekka often dies to edrag nightwitch and skeleking ability. Horde will erase those things.
I agree with monk being a liability if you try to reflect the rocket, though I think he's better as a defensive option against Sparky, for example.
Minion Horde on the other hand sounds a little too fragile to me. Stuff like a random Firecracker plus rage or zap could shred them. I'm gonna try it in the party mode and see if it works against Egolem.
@@TCStink3the objective of minion gorde is to catch them by surprise in their first combo. You freeze + minion horde and if u don't lose ur tower u cycle 2 other rockets realy fast. U can still win after a not so succesful defense but it's harder. Against other fast decks you can do a safe rocket race, placing the rocket close to ur tower and relying on perfect freeze timing if they don't, or be more risky and wait for theirs close to the bridge and kill it with minion horde. But overall is a big rocket paper scissors game, really dumb.
I mean people were running evo wiz. So I didn't run horde. I ran normal barbs nd evoo skele. Pretty. Good

Thanks SirTag, really grateful to you for the deck, i completed the challenge 12-2😊 i lost two matches in where i couldn't stop goblin giant double prince push, and in another match opponent outcycled me the rocket silo
I went 12-0 with Pekka exe tornado rage monk cycle. If they go rocket just play pekka the back and use exe + rage + tornado to destroy their defense. If they play a second rocket while the pekka push walks up they won't have enough elixir to defend. If they try to defend with exe or wizard just tornado it in and rage.
They usually manage to get 2 rockets down, and if they go for a third just play pekka + evo skeles or just pekka and hover rage to kill skeles. Monk can usually be countered by tornado or freeze, yes, but if you play your cards they will be forced to use it on the pekka, and in double elixir you should be able to get down a monk in time to block their rocket with no counters in cycle. Only real counterplay is a cycle deck with both tornado and freeze. In some cases, you get enough damage with the pekka exe push that you can go rocket to finish them off.

New optimal deck that I created: rocket, evo barbs, rascals, lumber jack, balloon, valk, arrows, electro spirit
Strat vs rocket cycle: drop barbs/loon or lumber/loon, even rascal/barbs, or rascal/lumber to take one tower, after one tower is taken, you can safely kill and overwhelm the rocket since it can only be placed in the middle
Strat for egolem: just win, easy

What about a golem deck so when the opponent is spending elixir on the rocket silo you can make a push to 3 crown your opponent?

Watch how easily the deck I played erased every beatdown deck. They’re too slow and get 3 crowned before overtime, even if they manage to take 1 tower they always lose.

Monk is useless if the opponent KNOWS how to play this mode. They will have tornadao AND freeze to stop the Monk.
I got 12-1 with your deck without royale pass. Interesting enough that my final opponent had the same deck, we both play the rocket near the bridge but I play tornado faster then him and walk with W 🏆

My deck: evo ice spirit, valk, goblin curse, skellys, heal spirit, e-spirit, freeze. Freeze counters monk, valk and gob curse are just to counter beatdown decks.
