I was trying to break a soul tie with someone in prayer but the key element that was missing was to ask God to forgive them. I always said I forgive them but I didn't ask God to. I felt the soul tie break and a heaviness lift when I asked God to forgive them. Thank you for this teaching, I am amazed!

As I was becoming closer in my walk with Jesus, this woman came along and sabotaged my relationship with the Lord. I put so much of my energy into her mentally, intimately, and also having sex out of marriage. She was an ex-orthodox Jew who has trouble with accepting God in her life, and is in no way shape or form wanting to hear about Jesus. I spent this entire last year chasing after her, upon our third break-up (yes three break-ups in one year). I sent her an e-mail telling her I can't be with her anymore. It's over, but the soul tie is still lingering. It's haunting me on and off, and I'm constantly praying that the soul tie is broken off completely in Jesus name. I'm never having sex out of marriage ever again that's for sure. I'm praying for her and that's all I can do.Thank you for this Jennifer.

Prayer and fasting, even intermittent fasting helps to show the Lord you are willing to deny yourself, deny the flesh. I just recently came out of an unequally yoked relationship. God tells us not to be unequally yoked for a reason. Some of us have to learn the hard way. We need inner healing and deliveranve from the sin we were in. We repent, turn from the flesh, give the emotions to God, Let the other person Go,go,go. It is hard. But , it is the right thing to do. We have to remember, within our soul, the Great Love of God, that is not worth any unequally yoked relationship. Jesus Loves you, and He knows your heart. Holy Spirit will break the ungodly soul tie. Great stuff. We had a newly divorced wealthy woman nearly destroyed our church with her rebellion tryed to marry a newly divorced guy. She died 4 years later. Miserable. There were other divorces and swapping was a mess. None of them lasted. That church collapsed. Lord I forgive.

Set strong boundaries. Give her time to adjust, but if she doesn't, minimize contact as much as you can. Also, before you take any advice, pray! I have a friend who believed that she was supposed to cut out her narcissistic mother completely. I thought it was extreme and didn't agree with what she did for a long time, but her life bares the fruit! She is flourishing. Her mother was toxic enough to warrant zero contact. Do what God calls you to do 😊

Did you not wish or desire for your stalker to be healed? Isn't it God's will that we are healed? I've learned that a person can have a soul tie with a person, place, or thing. An old place like a pub/bar can be a soul tie. You can have a soul tie with your car. These all can be broken. Unhealthy soul ties need to be severed. Healing then can begin. Jesus took a blind man out of a city and healed him and told him NOT to go back into that city again. The old soul ties within that city would cause him to lose his healing. He had to break free and not go back into that toxic environment again.

I think this is the video where Jennifer says it is not appropriate to break soul ties with a parent. I wholeheartedly disagree. Jesus said, "My mother and my brothers are those who do the will of God." To say if you break soul ties with a mother into witchcraft is dishonorable, is simply black and white thinking. It is entirely possible to honor someone without allowing your soul to be a conduit for evil. God loves us all more than that.

I need prayer for my adult son who I believe is in a toxic relationship engaged to a young lady who may be using him. His dad, brother and sisters also feel he is being used. We each felt this separately and privately until my husband, me and his brother met the woman in person when it felt very strong. I went through something similar but in the position your son is in. i’m currently 21 and spent a year and half in a relationship that was ungodly. Keep praying, fast if you can, especially together as a family, and don’t ever doubt or give up. Sometimes you have to go through things to learn and I have learned plenty through my experience. I know I have had a soul tie to my mom thinking that I can just control the amount of affect she has on me and it seems safe as long as I keep it at bay. I have often felt held back from my purpose and confused. My mom has a very controlling spirit about her but she has such an influence on my family that I'm secretly afraid that if I cut my mom out for not repenting then I'll also lose contact with my family.....

Can you get soul ties from stuff bought at a thrift store? Also, my parents are both passed away. My mother was extremely controlling and when she passed, I got her chair, couch, and some other things. Do I need to get rid of all these things to be totally set free from that spirit? I’ve heard that you can have spiritual contamination from things in thrift store and that releases demonic activity because the history of things in which that object came from. Keep in mind something even if u pray for them have been consecrated to demons or the devil in Thrift stores and stuff..
I always pray over anything that I buy used, we got to even remember to that our daily things that are being made are from all over the world there are those who believe in false god's that make our everyday clothing, and human hair wigs, it is good to pray over used things, because indeed we know nothing of their spiritual walk, and it's attachment it may of been in someone's life, the dead can not harm a believer, but we must be wise. I prayed over a upholstery cleaning machine that I used today, because I don't know who's home it was last in, and the debris that was still on it, I know it may sound a bit much, but I will not give the enemy access into my life in any kind of way, I'm glad to hear someone else feels this way, because I thought I was really going overboard in the spirit, God bless.
Speak out and break any curses that may be attached to your parents stuff. I would talk to the guy first and see if they understand that the situation is different now. If it feels like he can't then I would pull away and explain to him why.

Can I ask something on this topic? I sometimes dream about other people and it's like I know some before I meet them and it's odd. But my ex is in 90 to 80 percent of mine. Its 80 percent on a good day. My ex was in dreams before I knew them too, usually if I have dreams with ppl I know it's rare. The problem is my dreams are kind of story driven they have a connecting beginning middle and end. My dreams are symbolic of stuff mostly but I hate fact ex is in most of them. Thank you so much as this confirms my question and beliefs about removing items received from people who i believe are toxic to me on one hand and removing and blocking people from my life that i believe are not true friends attached to me but talk negatively to my actions and behind my back bringing me down where i believe i don't belong. One person told me these persons i am blocking from my life need me but i dont want them to need me when the relationships are toxic to me distracting and depressing and/or negative to my progress. I am also no longer communicating with that person who tried to say she was gifted in some way to tell me about myself when i never asked. Another woman did the same not asking me who i am first because the things the 2 newly acquainted women one claiming herself as gifted minister said about me were not who i am or what i had already accomplished and thats when i knew something was not right. They were not interested to know my herstory just wanted to get me to follow them. Actually it happened another time before a woman called herself a minister wanted me as her secretary and i already worked as a secretary for years now working on being my own boss with several projects of my own. She had a knack for trying to tell people what to do also to her own benefit. So now thats 3 women trying to control me another few who turned on me and a couple of women who attached themselves but had toxic lifestyles trying to keep me tied to them like stalkers to use me. Set strong boundaries. Give her time to adjust, but if she doesn't, minimize contact as much as you can. Also, before you take any advice, pray! I have a friend who believed that she was supposed to cut out her narcissistic mother completely. I thought it was extreme and didn't agree with what she did for a long time, but her life bares the fruit! She is flourishing. Her mother was toxic enough to warrant zero contact. Do what God calls you to do 😊

My MIL kept me in her everyday curses,and always directed those curses towards my brother, lost my 38 year old brother last month, and I feel life threatening situation whenever I'm under the same roof , being Indian we are compelled to stay together. Play for me and my daughter

I am sorry to be the one to say this but not all marriages soul ties are good or Godly, especially when it comes to families, friendships and mother to children.
Did you not wish or desire for your stalker to be healed? Isn't it God's will that we are healed? Whenever I think about soul ties, I think about Jesus, when He felt the power leave His clothes as the lady with the blood problem touched Him. The power of the Holy Spirit can turn a soul tie into a tie of deliverance. He turns sadness to joy, and evil can be used for your good, when walking in the power. We must pray for each other as believers, and pray for our enemies as well. We must also believe that as soon as we seek the power of God, all the evil that has been planned for us will be used for our good. God refines His children with the fire of affliction, and He loves those who He corrects, therefore we praise Him forever and ever, Amen. This is a blessed teaching, dear sister in Christ.

I've learned that a person can have a soul tie with a person, place, or thing. An old place like a pub/bar can be a soul tie. You can have a soul tie with your car. These all can be broken. Unhealthy soul ties need to be severed. Healing then can begin. Jesus took a blind man out of a city and healed him and told him NOT to go back into that city again. The old soul ties within that city would cause him to lose his healing. He had to break free and not go back into that toxic environment again.

I had prayed about everything I could think of, but I missed soul ties with past Pastors that I had worked for and with. Also a pastor cursed me when I moved back to Lubbock Texas and said “that woman will never Pastor in my town”. I had forgotten about that, God reminded me of it while you were speaking. I think this is the video where Jennifer says it is not appropriate to break soul ties with a parent. I wholeheartedly disagree. Jesus said, "My mother and my brothers are those who do the will of God." To say if you break soul ties with a mother into witchcraft is dishonorable, is simply black and white thinking. It is entirely possible to honor someone without allowing your soul to be a conduit for evil. God loves us all more than that.

Why are you not teaching us about our Lord Christ Jesus?
I need prayer for my adult son who I believe is in a toxic relationship engaged to a young lady who may be using him. His dad, brother and sisters also feel he is being used. We each felt this separately and privately until my husband, me and his brother met the woman in person when it felt very strong. Please help us pray for this soul tie to be broken and for our loved one to come back to God and his family.
I went through something similar but in the position your son is in. i’m currently 21 and spent a year and half in a relationship that was ungodly. Keep praying, fast if you can, especially together as a family, and don’t ever doubt or give up. Sometimes you have to go through things to learn and I have learned plenty through my experience. Just have faith and know that God is in control and Jesus has authority over all. Specifically break and rebuke Jezebel and Athaliah in every way

What if you create a soul tie through intercourse but later want to renounce it what good is renouncing it if the other person doesnt do the same?
You are free if you confess it's broken off through Jesus. I would say just pray the other person is freed too but their bondage would no longer equate your bondage.

Can you get soul ties from stuff bought at a thrift store? Also, my parents are both passed away. My mother was extremely controlling and when she passed, I got her chair, couch, and some other things. Do I need to get rid of all these things to be totally set free from that spirit? Also, I have a guy friend that I now realize that intimate things spoken caused ungodly soul ties. He is now married but still tries to maintain the friendship. I’ve heard that you can have spiritual contamination from things in thrift store and that releases demonic activity because the history of things in which that object came from. Keep in mind something even if u pray for them have been consecrated to demons or the devil in Thrift stores and stuff..
I always pray over anything that I buy used, we got to even remember to that our daily things that are being made are from all over the world there are those who believe in false god's that make our everyday clothing, and human hair wigs, it is good to pray over used things, because indeed we know nothing of their spiritual walk, and it's attachment it may of been in someone's life, the dead can not harm a believer, but we must be wise. I prayed over a upholstery cleaning machine that I used today, because I don't know who's home it was last in, and the debris that was still on it, I know it may sound a bit much, but I will not give the enemy access into my life in any kind of way, I'm glad to hear someone else feels this way, because I thought I was really going overboard in the spirit, God bless.
Speak out and break any curses that may be attached to your parents stuff. I would talk to the guy first and see if they understand that the situation is different now. If it feels like he can't then I would pull away and explain to him why.

Can I ask something on this topic? I sometimes dream about other people and it's like I know some before I meet them and it's odd. But my ex is in 90 to 80 percent of mine. Its 80 percent on a good day. My ex was in dreams before I knew them too, usually if I have dreams with ppl I know it's rare. The problem is my dreams are kind of story driven they have a connecting beginning middle and end. My dreams are symbolic of stuff mostly but I hate fact ex is in most of them. Cuz suppose I have a dream that shows 1 event that will happen to me in the future, and my ex is in it. Well I broke up with ex 4 months ago and even if the dream were going to happen, sheer fact my ex is in it makes me not believe it, and I think most my dreams these days are from God because that is how he talks to me

Thank you so much as this confirms my question and beliefs about removing items received from people who i believe are toxic to me on one hand and removing and blocking people from my life that i believe are not true friends attached to me but talk negatively to my actions and behind my back bringing me down where i believe i don't belong. One person told me these persons i am blocking from my life need me but i dont want them to need me when the relationships are toxic to me distracting and depressing and/or negative to my progress. I am also no longer communicating with that person who tried to say she was gifted in some way to tell me about myself when i never asked. Another woman did the same not asking me who i am first because the things the 2 newly acquainted women one claiming herself as gifted minister said about me were not who i am or what i had already accomplished and thats when i knew something was not right. They were not interested to know my herstory just wanted to get me to follow them. Actually it happened another time before a woman called herself a minister wanted me as her secretary and i already worked as a secretary for years now working on being my own boss with several projects of my own. She had a knack for trying to tell people what to do also to her own benefit. So now thats 3 women trying to control me another few who turned on me and a couple of women who attached themselves but had toxic lifestyles trying to keep me tied to them like stalkers to use me.
