    Holy cow, Tim. I’m absolutely GRINNING from ear to ear hearing you talk about my products. It means just so much hearing those kind words from a fellow maker. Couldn’t be more appreciative, man… seriously. Can’t wait to see what the future holds, and would love to do some work with ya in the future! I’d love to have more of an interaction with this incredibly community, so we’ll see… for now, the Instagram, website, photography and product creation is taking up the bulk of my time :)

    Shiiit, Tim, you make me feel old! All your love for axs and refurbishing projects made me remember 'The axe is back' movement from about a decade ago. Good times... TH-cam was different at the time!

      I have the same hatchet, my dad bought it new in the mid 70s. Mine needs a new handle and some cleaning.

    So cool to see these tools so beautifully prepared for thier second life of useful work. This is going to be a great series and I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of them turn out. So much of what is made these days is wasted, great to see someone turning it around for once 😎👍

    Try burning the handle with a torch before staining, it will make the grain pop! It is what Buckin Billy Ray does.

    If you're gonna redo the stickers on the handle, get ahold of hand tool rescue and see who does his remans for him

    I have a couple MIBRO hatchets. Both are very lightly stamped, but one says "made in west germany".Very high quality steel for sure

    Would you consider selling axe handles or axe handle blanks? Good handles seem to be pretty elusive here in BC 😂

    I have a Sandvik hatchet just like that. Dad bought it at K-Mart in the mid 70s. It needs a new handle. I also need to do something with his old Walters boy axe. I’d love to find an identical handle, they don’t make them like that anymore b

    @ 12:07, you could try to upset this mushrooming back to itself, I had some success doing this with hand hammers etc. Although I wouldn´t recommend doing it with the powerhammer ^^ flying hammer heads aren´t something anyone should experience

    I can’t believe people are payin this for these old axes when you can go on eBay and get them for under 100 and put a freakin handle in them! I mean 450 that’s more than a brand new hand forged Hoffman camo axe!

    Refurbish and reuse
