I bought the Diplodocus as soon as I saw it, it's a thing of beauty. I would love a more accurate one at some point in the future, but it's a great balance with the WWD homage. I might well go for the Apatosaurus & build a wee Morrison Formation shield myself.
Despite being advertised as 1:40 the Eofauna Diplodocus is actually 1:36, so it could easily pass off as 1:35 if you want a scientifically accurate diplodocus in that scale. If you take it to be Diplodocus hallorum rather than Diplodocus carnegii then it is indeed 1:40 scale.
Honestly, my favorite 2023 figure is the pnso Tyrannosaurus rex figure Cameron I like the coloring and I like it’s muscle mass of the figure. Also, I do think that we will find a Theropod mummy that way, we will know the truth if they had lips or not before if some of you guys comment, it is a possibility it takes time to find one
Nice list, I figured Apatosaurus or Diplodocus would be at the top knowing you. And even though the only figures I have on it are some of the wave 2 BOTM tyrannosaurs, I can agree with all of them from an objective point of view. The only one I'm not a huge fan of is the Safari Utahraptor and it's not because of the colors or the sculpt itself in general, I just can't get around the specific pose. The incredibly wide open mouth and outstretched arms immediately struck me as goofy and not intimidating 😅 But that's just me, still a nice figure, but I'd give it to Majungasaurus for a Safari representative on this list.
My favorites from this year are the beast of the Mesozoic T. rex (both adult and juvenile) the yutyrannus the lythronax the daspletosaurus the gorgosaurus the pnso giganotosaurus lythronax albertosaurus saurophaganax Zulu haolongood apatosaurus pachyrhinosaurus pentaceratops the hadrosaurus I’m having trouble pronouncing the Edmonton’s that ankylosaur I’m also having trouble pronouncing the daspletosaurus dilophosaurus sorry my list is so long o just like a lot of figures from the year
Wait, the Utahraptor is roughly 1/35?! I might have to get it just for that! No surprise with Haolonggood's Apatosaurus topping the list, it's number 1 of the year for many people including myself. Phenomenal figure.
Since killershrewfans went cold turkey for a year blud fr said “fine I’ll do it myself”
I couldn’t take the pressure anymore, it was too much😭

Oh boy, get ready for the comments lambasting you for daring to put a Safari figure over something from PNSO!
Then PNSO needs to get off their a$$ and make some feathered dromaeosaurs!!!
I like the utahraptor but I don't like how their mouths are always opened wide.

same here
Cameron es the definitive T. Rex for me even if it has no lips
I really hope that there is atleast 1 kulindadromeus figure made
I think the pnso yangchuanosaurus magnus is my favourite this year. Love that. Interested to see what figures we get from them this year.
I need that therizonasuarus it looks incredible!

That Apatosaurus looks fantastic but it's also expensive!
@@petert834 it is, but in my opinion it's worth it!
why cameron isnt on this list
I agree so much with this list
They say accurate but we dont know if its accurate or how accurate.
Like allosaurus, those arms being like that makes no sense.
definitely not biast 10:16 😅
Am I the only one who doesn’t see the hype with beasts of the Mesozoic models?
I don’t care, Saurophaganax is my number 1, and you cannot change my mind.
