I looove this new song from VOB! They employ all their best talents to get across their climate message, including the harsh vocalizations. As for needing more of it though... absolutely not. The way it's employed today by many other bands just sounds embarrassingly ridiculous. It sounds like a cross between a guy who's had too many drinks the night before, hovering over the toilet and a toddler having a meltdown. It utterly lacks any sort of impact.
However, here it is employed perfectly. You know she means business when she uses harsh vocals because it stands out and has great impact. You should hear her on stage as she builds up to "We can't be silent." It will send chills down your spine.
