I was also able to book a length of cruise pass prior to my first cruise. I was on the four night cruise. Staff always greeted me by name when I came to relax. It was never busy. On our sea day, I was the only one there on the spa outdoor area.

You actually can book the length of cruise passes ahead of time now! We are first timers sailing in Sept and it was available when we went to book our activities last night.

Were the hot tubs actually hot? I find that most hot tubs on ships are just warm which I don’t like much.

I think they were set well. I like a hot tub around 102 and’s these were slightly warmer - I would guess 104 (the temps were not displayed). On the other ships I often found the tubs to be lukewarm so this was a pleasant surprise.
