    G'day mate.
Really like what you have been doing here and I think you are going to have a great foundation for the crops in Spring.
    Good on you.
    All the best,
    Daz.

Thanks so much. I feel like if we ever came to oz, we would have to have a chat. I feel we share the same interests.

@@hazelcreekheritagefarm8092 I'd be happy to host you mate.
I'm only on a half acre, but I think you'd be pretty happy seeing kangaroos in my front yard at night and mornings. 😁

great experiment, should work out great. I bet that hay is going to have a lot of weed seeds in it though.

I completely agree haha. It came from an organic hay field which will not help the odds. But it will be interesting to find out! Thanx for watching!

@@hazelcreekheritagefarm8092 Our property is really rocky, a couple years ago I was thinking of buying some rotted hay to spread out over some food plots to increase topsoil and to cover the rocks. I was told by quite a few people not to do it because of weed seeds in the hay. So I am interested in seeing how this turns out.

I think that would work.. maybe not plant that season, just make sure to cut down the weeds before they seed out and throw the tops back into the mix. The more green in there the better. Eventually the healthy soil will grow the good things. A regenerative podcast I am into speaks a lot of how healthy spoil produces healthy plants and how weeds cannot grow in healthy soil.
