Adoption especially is not mostly talked about in Nigeria and there are lots of people doing this even in Nigeria.
I TTC for 5 years with the positive energy and lots of emotional support from family and friends yet it wasn't so much fun o!! Can't imagine this kind of wickedness lurking around me in that state man! I think that lady should find a fertility support group online and join so she can hear other women's experiences of how they conquered infertility and hopefully try out one that will help her conceive. On the agreement breaker, I think the lady should further reiterate that she's done done with having babies because Why are you even talking about cheating??!! I definitely agree with ihuoma on being emotionally ready for another child because its a lot!!! I personally think pregnancy is super big deal and honestly and truly it is not that much fun.That man is selfish and sis needs to look out for herself first!! On the last question, you guys said it all. They need to get help. I am honestly super obsessed with my twins but seeing hubby feed ,hold or play with them is definitely something I loveeeee!! I will submit this as regards the lady whose mother found out that she was taking contraceptive when she was in the University; 1. Not everyone in our parents age is as exposed as your mum ibro. Many of our parents age will act the same because their generation do not understand that emotions is a serious issue. 2. We have alot of religious people in Africa who do not understand that the love of God is for everyone because it's obvious she is religious and not spiritual 3. We do not expect the mother to be happy that her young child is using birth control because it is obvious she was having sex and nobody wants to believe that her baby is having sex but using hurtful words by the mother is not nice at all 4. I also know that nobody can love a child like the mother and I want to believe she loves the child but she does not realise that she is been toxic. They need to also check her mother's background because our background also play a key factor in our behaviour. 5. Her husband need to stand up with mama and tell her that her words hurt wifey.
I agree with all your points but at some point you’ve got to stand up for yourself. In this case I really think the lady in question should stand up to her mother. There are some battles you stand up and fight, nothing wrong in the husband supporting but she should stand up first.

It could even be more than just birthing another child. Like Ihuoma said, she has to be emotionally ready to have another child. May be the woman just doesnt want to be around another baby or raise another one. So be it surrogacy or adoption, it still requires a lot of energy and attention from her which she probably isnt ready for.

Came suddenly and went suddenly 🥹🥺 how shall I go on living with you now😭 I have to say though, on the lady whose mother is breathing down her neck, I do not think cutting off is a sustainable solution - it’s the easy way out, but it won’t help either of them. The poor woman had probably suffered a heart ache from raising a rebellious child, and her hurt is valid. All the hurtful things she says stems from that pain, but we must recognize that she has good intentions and she loves her daughter to death. However, Imagine what will be the outcome if the lady asks to see her mother, goes to her, apologizes for all the trouble she’s been and asks her mother to pray for her. This takes a lot of pride swallowing, I speak from experience. But, she doesn’t even have to mean it, but it will open a door to a better future for them. Everybody needs their mother on their side. That relationship is worth fighting for. Please Mothers say the most hurtful this, even the best of them. And it hurt us as much because they are our mothers. But their love for us is constant and true. Don’t cut your mother off if you can help it. You’ll badly regret it. They are not here for long. And when they are gone, all that hurt won’t matter.
