This isn't some lawsuit with a jury so there's no "case" to ruin. As horrible as this is, this is legally just a domestic issue. Malice just needs to go to the police and show them AmAllexx threatening her with violence which is enough to get a restraining order.

Turns out, The UK has relatively new coercive control laws for this EXACT type of domestic case. Which is reassuring considering I wasn't thinking about any kind of civil litigation from this- but criminal investigation.
Let's hope the law looks into this, if they aren't in the process of that already.

@@ElfpireEva I don't really think there's anything here yet that could warrant a criminal investigation but just to let you know, I absolutely agree that Malice should've gone to the police first. I don't think we can really follow the timelines here exactly and we don't really know if she did go to the police first, but it would be my assumption that if she did go to the police, they would have advised her not to post about it until after she gets a restraining order.

@@Poo0fi You're absolutely right that's what they would have done- at the very least they would have pressed that nothing about an investigation be mentioned publically. The guy almost certainly has an undiagnosed personality disorder (possibly borderline personality disorder) Now that 100% doesn't excuse his actions, he has to own that, but at the same time he is still a human being and people with personality disorders can with treatment and medication go into remission. I sympathize with the girl wayyy more but living with personality disorder is hell and they suffer too but the thing is once the person gets diagnosed and they know they need to change and get help and they don't or refuse to then I can say fuck em. But asmongold saying they either need to be in a cage or killed is outrageous and makes him sound like a psychopath himself. An ugly and absolutely infuriating lesson I've learned is that if an abuser has a convincing enough sob story or they "push the right buttons" (they had a bad childhood, they were abused themselves, they are in desperate circumstances, they're part of a historically disadvantaged group, etc) then certain people will fall all over themselves to find excuses for the abuser's behavior and make passionate pleas for us to just "have empathy and understand him/her 😢".
It's absolutely disgusting and sometimes these defenders will go so far as to pressure the victim(s) into some form of forgiving their tormentor via shaming tactics or other manipulations.

Some cultures refuse to be honest, and those people need to be removed.

I initially thought the people protesting felt that calling people psychos and dehumanising them like this impacts people with those disorders who DO manage them, who DO understand the issue they have and both acknowledge it and don't use it as an excuse but a contributing factor. But it turns out the people protesting were "it's not his fault, he can be saved" types.
I have friends with BPD and different disorders and despite managing their shit and not being like this guy, they also get lumped in with the Old Yeller thought process, they say "hey actually I have this disorder" they get the horrified recoils, they get ostracised and called psychos.
That'd be the only way I could see this as a "you're just ignorant" situation, but the people saying it really showed their ass in subsequent comments, like yeah the dude needs help but if someone is a danger to others and themselves they do need to be severely restricted, as is the standard for literally every type of person regardless of mental health diagnosis.

Its sad how little the British police do about situations like this, I had a relationship very similar to this and basically my reports went nowhere. Events in the news this week in the UK has demonstrated that men with abusive pasts are simply allowed onto our streets until a woman dies and even then its blamed on their mental health. The attitudes of British police to domestic abuse is utterly foul.

It truly is awful here, I had such a sad experience with this.
I am guy, I was about 30 at the time and I got back from work to my apartment to find a guy in a fight in the street with his girl. The guy looked like he could kick my ass but I just didn't think, I jumped in between them and tried to diffuse the situation. He looked like he was think about kicking my ass. I managed to calm him as his pitbull dog who was there too seemed to like me so I used that to bring down the aggression, but I had to stay between him and her. I was there keeping a kind of peace for what felt like an hour but was probably 10 mins.
Some other neighbour must have called the police, the officer knew him by name! He had an attitude of "Aww not again Gary" like it was a standard thing to happen on a Tuesday night.
I went and chatted with the victim briefly, he does this when he drinks she said. I said did she have a parents place near or somewhere to go? She said he's smash up her stuff if she left. I felt so helpless, I wanted to take her in to my wife to have a place to rest but I just couldn't do anything, I didn't want to push her. I spoke to the police after asked if they wanted a statement or something. It felt like they simply didn't care.
It's right that they just wait for something worse to happen.
I wish I did more now, I should have put her on to a charity or something. I never saw her again, we moved only months later.

@@NunoSobrinho-jw8ekThe whole western imperialist mindset on geopolitics is like the bully in some highschool movie who keeps shoving someone into a locker and then when they snap its "whoa what did I do?" " This guys crazy!"
I'm no fan of Putin or Russia and I don't condone Ukraine but it was inevitable and 100% provoked.
It's a complex world in geopolitics but one thing is certain. The US doesn't fight for what's right they fight for profit and power.
Gorbachev is considered a traitor and that he sold out Russia but he acted on the assumption that the US and Nato would allow them a level playing field. Naive but if the West was really doing what's "right" and "just" then they would've welcomed the opportunity to have an ally and not an enemy.
The fact is that the US needs a villain to give reason and just cause for expansionist policy. If the public isn't afraid then they won't support injustices. If they're convinced that something is a threat then they will. It's in the convincing that the issue lies as it's built off lies.
Countless cases of the US government overthrowing lawful rulers, fearmongering and deceiving their populace for profit.
Ukraine is caught in the middle. They chose the popular bully because it looked safe. Hell if you really go into it they were, (as is usually the case), somewhat forced into it.
Look at Cuba. In no way was the US ok with an enemy presence that close to its borders yet they continually broker shady geopolitics and "protection" from Russia as a means to set up NATO bases on Russian borders like some 8 y/o kid with a glove on telling you "I'm not touching you" as they poke you in the face.

I grew up with an alcoholic abusive mentally and physically step father that would beat me and my mom. I never really knew that abuse was a thing until like middle school or early high school. It was just my surroundings and how I was raised. By the time I reached into high-school I finally had enough and was able to talk with a school counselor about my past trauma and all the abuse. They called DHS and the police eventually came because my step dad had me in a rear-naked choke and held it until I blacked out fully. I was never one to be aggressive growing up and always pushed myself to be the OPPOSITE of who he was. Now a days I notice anger issues within myself and I've had moments where I snapped at people and I know I have a problem and wish to be better. Idk how some people didn't see this coming. Alex helped falsely accuse multiple people of very serious crimes (which all turned out to be false). Of course the guy trying to bury everyone else has some glaring skeletons in his closet.
Funny how all of Slazo’s accusers have either fallen off hard or been exposed as abusers themselves (save for Dolan Dark, he seems to be doing fine). Karma exists.

Something about him baby raging about being given 2 simple tasks is funny to me, because if someone has some things they want me to do, I LOVE it when they lay it all out at once. I don't like finishing up, only to be told there's more. Give me all the work at once, so I can just do it all, and then when I'm done I can ACTUALLY be done.
Of course, when people DO give me tasks 1 at a time, despite disliking it, I tend to take it in stride because I'm an adult who doesn't let minor inconveniences drive me to screaming.

I think the actual foresight to have this take on violence while mentally deranged only comes from also having those moments.
You've felt so hurt and mad that you've been in that moment where ur rageful and know you're dangerous to ppl right now.
It's a special type of self awareness to be influenced by emotions but be the type of person to also recognize you're being influenced and you cant control it for some reason and to recognize you're a risk (if someone pushes your buttons) and to separate YOURSELF from people until you're calm.
If you, as a human, can't do that yourself then you get thrown in jail againt your will until THEY decide when you're calm. Which may not align with you.
That's the game of life. Control yourself or your society will control you, itself. One way or another
