Zab has a temper but he didn't start it. Garcia's dad is a big mouth, and he kept insulting Zab until Zab got up in his face. Doesn't he have no shame, acting foolish in front of his kid and the whole world. What's the reason for him to berate Zab? I think Zab had every right to tell Mr Garcia to kiss his ass. Why can't he act like an adult, just state his case and sit down like a decent adult? Then Danny got up there and said 'I'm going to punish Zab'. In the fight, Zab came on in the end and fought well. Danny isn't as good as he and his dad thinks he is.He got lucky against Matthysse when his eye closed, and he lost to Herrera but got a hometown decision. He hasn't beat anyone yet, even Zab is past his prime. When Danny gets in with a solid guy, he'll lose and get ko'd .

MW did not get credit for early knockdown and despite having hand problems because JLC was hit CLEANLY and flush with hooks. Its the end of the fight, that cemented why MW was my fav. The sheer confidence and toughness to exchange in pocket like it was 1950s LaMotta style. Awesome, he can do it all.
JLC gets credit for being in shape and surviving w/ rabbit punching but MW could dance circles and leave him hanging w/ pot shots if he did not press to land big punches. MW wanted to punish JLC.

There are fighters that break through another man. And of course SRL has skills to break people down but, I've never seen anybody so committed to his discipline, to safety and the perfect combination like MW.
He does not reach for KOs or try to go through a fighter and gut out a victory. But he breaks fighters down, instead of a tidal wave- his style is drops of water that erode a canyon. And in a flash, a guy's legs turn into spaghetti.

If Khan wasn't wound up by Angels comments, he would have focused on the game plan more instead of rushing in for the KO, that is what lost his the fight, not keeping his distance. Angel and Danny both know that Danny is dangerous when a fighter is close to him, so by winding up his opponents they are more likely to want to knock him out instead of winning by points. It's clever.

Every fight is another stunning piece of fighters lose the will to fight like Ortiz, Shane, Cotto, anybody he fought even JLC all get walked down w/ clean punches feeling as defeated as a JV team full of seniors. All of em' head down wondering why they even tried.

I too am a weakling when im with my parents walking around. I don't know why it happens and im 21. I keep my head down and stay quiet. BUT, when im out alone or with friends, I change into a "badass" mentality, if you will. I walk with my head up look aorund for any possible challengers, you know the usual tough guy qualities. I have trained in boxing and have sparred before and won all. Thats why I feel very confident, but whenever im with my parents im like a gentle 6'2.5" mommas boy, lol

Finally, SRL had skills and could showcase his boxing genius. He could have a fighter become helplessly confused but more often than not- SRL would, use his incredible athleticism to WILL HIS WAY TO VICTORY. SRL got into brawls. Diminish away power and athleticism against a matched opponent, SRL would find himself in trouble more often than MW ever would. MW is boxer n SRL was more of a brawler. And more often than not the brawler loses a boxer.

I respect, SRL. He took boxing to another level after Ali decline. When SRL had 2 dig deep there is nobody better, his body was otherworldly. MW never had SRL's competition. But, no matter how much toughness SRL had, his boxing skills did not earn him success and skills could NOT save him. And toughness as fades, SRL's body of work never was dominant because macho guys always get themselves beaten up.
SRL had the total package but to the best, your skills have to separate you from the wannabes

Its a lot to learn especially because that is not his style. To fight, you need total confidence and trust in your style. Khan knows his combinations can K.O so he puts trust in the style Roach helped perfect despite being reckless- he trusts his style. Virgil can only change so much to style but he has to change Khan thinking.
