I was born in Sri Lanka but raised in Australia. I just returned from an amazing two week trip in Sri Lanka where I got to see my family for the first time since 2019 (Covid stopped me from visiting sooner). My family and I were catching a train from Nawalapitiya to Ella when a little Sri Lankan boy, probably around 8 or 9 years old, put this song on the boom box. We were all in awe of this track and had to know what it was. It’s simply stunning, this version and the Sinhalese version. So many amazing memories were made on that train ride, including randomly hearing this song for the first time. Thank you for your wonderful creation ❤ love from Melbourne, Australia
