Being Pakistani, it is quite astonishing that I was unknown with this legendary place. Its adverse condition proves negligence of authorities. They are unaware with the gems in our country.

Gandhara was a great civilization on today's pakhtuns remarkable land. Right from discovery of zero near Bakhshali, Mardan to Panini of Salatur....now Lahor of swabi ...to stupas and Malandra , Mardan where Birbal was killed by pakhtuns, rich heritage is the what we can be rightly proud of. Islamabad is my home and it is great to see the archeological culture and sites. We got to restore these Hindu and Bhuddist temples keeping the religious tourism in perspective.
Very Nice to bring into notice, this place is amazing and very great place for History Education. First need to save this place and develop roads to be easily accessible for Study Tour and preserve this place is the first step.

I WAS THERE IN YEAR 2015
I lived in Pak for three years, and it's a beautiful country but unfortunately inhabited by one of the most corrupt and incompetent peoples and so are their authorities. The communities are mostly illeterate and completely unaware of their rich history and landscapes. I sometimes used to wonder that such a beautiful didn't deserve such low people. You'd find dirt everywhere, vendors, shopkeepers and government officials are always looking to rip off foreigners. The government processes and procedures are just not efficient and conducive at all for promotion of tourism. The hotels are of very low quality but more expensive than hotels in Europe for a foreigner.

I think the op did a really well job making this documentary. I visited Shah Allah Ditta caves several times and even then I didn't know how much was lost to it and that it has been neglected for decades.
