He's just all around a prodigy boarder that got recognition for it much sooner than most people, to which his winnings reflect that. Plus I think it's his persona, and red hair, etc that attracts and intrigues people.
My point exactly. Snowboarding is no longer about how many spins can you do. Its about going upside down and being creative with your tricks. Shaun has demonstrated that in the pipe but not with jumps. Type in "Best of Snowboarding 2010" and see what the progressors of our sport are doing.
I do both too. Skiing and snowboarding are both hard and i enjoy both but i snowboard more now since i have snowboard and a lot of my friends do also. But once you on the more difficult trails your usually a more experienced skiier so trails do not matter.

I just bought a Burton Operator for $156 brand new!!!! Would C02 Est bindings go well with it, I just bought it off some guy on CL for $185 new. But what bindnigs does SW use? Not that I must have the same binding he uses, but for his riding style of riding pipe and doing the bigger jumps, would the C02s be good for that? I just heard it's stiffer.
He's awesome!! cant get enough of him! but reading the comments i can believe that he's been cocky at sometime b/c everyone tells him he's the best and he's earned it!!! I mean he's only human give him a break anyone can be like that after winning so much!! but i dont think he's intentionally hurt anyone. why would he need to?
