This is really helpful Michael, thank you. I am about to take on a 1/3 scale figure sculpture and I'm trying to figure out how to bulk out the aluminum armature. it looked like you sealed the foam with something when you finished sculpting the foam. Can you explain what you used and why it is important to your workflow? I will be using a wax base clay and I want to be sure that the clay will stick to the armature.

Raya Dawn no worries I’m glad it was helpful. I used some acrylic impasto medium to seal the rubber. I was trying to prevent my clay from getting impurity’s from the rubber in it. I would love to see how your project goes, good luck
