Most Top People in their field usually are intelligent and have deeper perspective than the average person...average people can only see what's happening right now, great people can see a vision for themselves and everything around them

I do not choose to be a common person. It is my right to be uncommon-- if I can. I seek opportunity--not security. I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the State look after me. I want to take the calculated risk--to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed.

@chrisluvoldschool ... the traditional American dream doesn't require education, it requires cunning and will. The process of going to college, leaving and being successful is sometimes less realistic and practical than creative endeavors. Get it how you live....btw I went to college, a very good one and I came from the streets..."all wine and dancing girls"

its hard to stay relivant in HIP HOP just for a minute. to do it as long as he has says a lot. he understood how and when to change his mind set and adjust to succeed. in the song HAM he says "I play chicken with a Mack truck
    Y'all muthaf-ckers woulda been moved
I swam waters with great whites
    Y'all muthaf-ckers woulda been chewed
I hustle with vultures late nights
Y'all muthaf-ckers woulda been food" it takes a lot more than being hard and so called real to survive. how bout being smart

When you speak negative things about other ppl, you yourself has a serious problem. Jay Z is keeping it real on this one. Those who don't understand the mentality really need to look in the mirror and ask yourself WHY?!

  • @AGodspeed1

When dude asked him has his happiness risen with his bank account, i loved the way Jay said no yo real rap. It showed alot of character. No hesitance. Jay-z is not a devil worshipper nor is kanye. However there are people who want to control the world who also control the music industry.

Many years in the future when they look back in the timeline to speak about the first black president and make reference to the information era they will ask what genre of music were we listening to and Hip Hop will be mentioned. Then they'll ask who was the most influential pioneer in hip hop and without a reasonable doubt they will say Jay-Z.

@tldatroof Goal is to think for yourself and do whatever it is yu want in life. Dont let anybody step in your way. The human mind is extremely powerful but belief in all this negativity is only slowing it down. This universe also has powerful forces that work with us or against us. All Im sayin is Jay is where he is because he used his brained and knew there is no limit to our ability. Sonner we start believing that ourself then we may achieve our own success. (Think) for urself.

I hear all the illuminati gossip, and I don't know if it's true because 1) Only GOD can judge, and 2) I don't believe evrything I hear. I need facts, not gossip. When I hear him speak, I hear him speak of goodness - giving, charity, helping others. Hopefully for his soul, it's not true because he can't take not one dollar with him when he leaves this earth!

I refuse to barter incentive for a dole; I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence, the thrill of fulfillment to the stale calm of Utopia. I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for a handout. I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat. It is my heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid, to think and to act for myself, to enjoy the benefit of my creations and to face the world boldly and say, This, with God's help, I have done.

it's not gossip at all. the devil is real.you can choose to believe it just like you can choose not to which is fine by me because we each bear our own cross. i'm not judging Jay Z at all. in fact i feel bad for him. a deceiver will not admit he deceives, a liar will not admit he lies. dont expect jay z to tell you that he worships the devil and is a deceiver. a guilty person makes himself feel good by doing good deeds. remember a bad tree cannot produce a good fruit and vice vers.....God bless!

that's gotta be the biggest misconception of heard of from someone when it comes to jay...keeps black people ignorant??? over the years as he has grown in age his lyrics have as well and he has become a very mature beyond that ignorant shit he grew up around! And his music clearly displays that over the years...records like, -what we talkin bout, 30 something, the prelude, murder to excellence, most kingz" never listened to jay when I younger, but now that I'm older his music motivates my success!

People are sooo judgemental to the point where they knock their own wealth. If you look at the videos, AND LISTEN to what these SUCCESSFUL Playas are saying - these are the keys to success PERIOD!!! Jay Z is saying the same thing Kanye is saying, is the same thing Donald Trump is saying. And these tactics can be applied to ANY area of life, not just rap! He's a genius... don't HATE him for it! God has given US ALL talent, and genius, you just have to tap into it. And that's the hard part!
