For syllabus overview obviously use NCERT. For studying in more details study trueman biology. there are 2 parts. this is a text book . for objective question practicing, u can have arihant exploring biology. You may also subscribe to a monthly magazine- mtg or spectrum. i personally prefer mtg. hope this helps. many students buy so many books, but that much is not needed. i believe if someone studies trueman biology and practices objective questions from any book regularly, he/she would succed.
I dont like hc verma physics at all Concepts are not given with deep principles behind the concepts My favourite physics book is University physics with modern physics and i brought this for preparing for SAT as well As ACT exam for getting into Masschuset Institute of technology and got full funding there free living and studying
