fantastic distribution, I don't know if they were all on stage for the same representation, but it was certainly worth it ! at the Opera de Paris they are playing La Bayadère now but I didn't bought a ticket ! I regret it now ....
Really interesting! I didn't know any company did a "destruction of the temple" scene that didn't include a whole other act. FATHOM presented a complete Bolshoi Bayadere last year that just had Solor follow Nikiya up the ramp so one assumed he followed her into the Kingdom of the Shades. Do you have any more footage of this performance or this production? I find it hilarious that you could have put a bag over Osipova's head and still recognized her from the height and buoyancy of those cabrioles! Only comment is that the corps and the 3 shades together could have used a little attention (spacing and staying together). Really well done variations, though, and I've seen Zakharova and Tsikaridze do these roles but not together, so that was a real treat. Thanks for posting!

I agree with you, Osipova has such a distinctive style and body ! the number of prima ballerinas on stage is insane ! and it is true that sometimes it is a little "messy" but they are not "the Rockettes" at the Radio City Hall, the parts that they have to perform is much more difficult and it is not easy to be in a perfect timing with such complex movements ...
I had to go to a shorter, wider pointe shoe (and not switch them---feet just too different), which at the time meant Freed's. (Like a 5 or 6 pointe shoe where I wear a US 9 street shoe.) Just a suggestion.
