    Nice day out on the water! Want to shout out a thank you to Will for sending me the Johnny Jigs rod set up with the 300 Accurate reel! Love the feel. As he may have told you guys I lost my whole slow pitch outfit Johnny set me up with over the side to an African Pompano last week over a wreck off Summerland key☹️ was a nice fish too! He got the best of me while grabbing the net. The crazy part is I’m still excited I had that fish on the slow pitch. To make matters worse, it was my first time using the new rod that day. You guys had my new set up out within 48 hours!
    Tight Lines to all and merry Jigging

    Hey I have had alot of luck running a gulp 5" grub on those jigs for tuna when they come to eat sand eels. Lol I was on a charter an I had to sneak a grub twister to add to the jig. The captian a little mad but I am a bass fisherman an jig all year round an adding some action with the flash works well. I finally earned forgiveness when I hooked the first the tuna of the day and then we all had twister grubs on as trialers.

    Great video again, guys. I really would love to see a bit more consideration for level-wind reels in SPJ. I personally find the need to guide the line while reeling in a bit distracting from the experience. Maybe a subject for a future video? Keep 'em coming!

    Great vid guys. Does the GPS need to be on “north up” or “heading up” to best set up the drift?

    • @JohnnyJigsTV
      @JohnnyJigsTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, Kerry. Some captains prefer north up. It is not better as far as I know. Personally, I like to tap the screen, leaving my cursor exactly where I want to start my drift. Then, Navigate to the cursor.
