Annie Pope (Christine Lahti) and her husband committed an act of protest against the Vietnam War. Since then, Annie hasn’t spoken to her parents in more than 10 years. But now, she is able to meet up and talk with her father Donald (Steven Hill) to ask him a favor.
Running On Empty was released in 1988. The screenplay was written by Naomi Foner and it was directed by Sidney Lumet. This film is owned by Warner Brothers Entertainment Inc.
