Haidakhan Baba is sometimes used to refer to the saint who lived around 1900 in the region of Haidakhan, and Herakhan Baba to the young man who lived there from 1971 to 1983. When he died, his devotees claimed that it was the "old" Haidakhan Baba who had returned. Regardless of the greatness of this Guru, there is no reason to associate him with the Immortal Babaji. Herakhan Baba did not teach any form of Kriya Yoga. He created an ashram with his own rules and died in 1983, from poisoning.

I take my hat off to Mr. Govindan, the only one that really clarified the mistake about the Real and only Mahavatar Babaji Maharaj, Master of Lahiri Mahasaya, Sri Yukteswar, Paramahansa Yogananda, and us all. May the Love and Light of Babaji/Krishna be upon us! Jai Mahagurudev!

The teachings of Babaji and the Siddhas do not preach to escape from the world, but rather to allow the Grace to descend, and manifest our potential. It is not the soul, nor the mind, nor the emotions that we seek to destroy, but rather our attachment to them (also refered to as "ego"). As we free ourselves from egoistic tendencies, our mind, emotions and physical body become much better tools, as we are in a better alignment with the Divine...

I don't want to spoil things for you so I'll be gentle. As John Lennon encouraged, we should question our assumptions and our beliefs. If something is true, if it's real, it can stand the heat of scrutiny. Only good can come from this because I believe that above all we must strive to be truth seekers. Reality is bliss.
@MattheusDaniel: when somebody says "I am the source of everything", just as when Jesus said "I am the light", this individual is speaking on behalf of everyone. If you still see things as separate, then you will project your own ego and will interpret something like that into meaning "He is claiming himself to be the only God".

According to paramahansa yogananda babaji still maintains a physical form. In otherwords he's still alive.
Why then hasn't he proved the existance of god or any super natural power or miracle?
Why hasn't he proved that there is such a thing as reincarnation? Or an afterlife?
TRUTHS are self evident. not needing proofs. Do you need to prove that you exist ?

Is there a need to? I have seen people performing miracles but what happened with crowd? They were happy amazed they got back to home and forgotten. Teaching dharma is the only proper way ;-)
I want a real god man/master/guru to do something besides talk and slight of hand magic tricks. Let's see a real miracle like: ridding the world of hunger and poverty and disease.
...just deny that suffering exists in this world and everything is fine! At least if you can afford it.

The babaji story as related by mahasaya Lihiri might be true. Perhaps there is a deathless sage that peruses caves even to this day in the Himayalayas.
But just so everyone knows. The two disciples of babaji that mr. marshall govindan mentions here at the beginning of the video who supposedly took dictation word for word from Babaji himself, who materialized before them in 1953 was admitted by each of them later on to be all made up (fiction). It took fifty years for the book ("the voice of babaji - a trilogy of kriya yoga), to see the light of day (as it was first published in 2002). Why so long? Perhaps so everyone who was alive then and knew it to be a work of fiction could all die off first before it could be sold to gullible neo-new agers(?)

Much of this tradition is based on information passed down from a time that preceded Abraham by thousands of years. Even the apostle Paul said to "try the spirits to see whether they be of God." Have you ? If so did you investigate all the evidence ? Did you read those scriptures written millenium before Christ ? If you don't know then please do not demonize others. Remember, Jesus Christ was crucified under the pretense of blasphemy!

Approximately 18 years of the record Jesus' life (between the ages 12 and 30) is missing from your Bible. What do you think Jesus was doing during those years? He was traveling. This travel included visiting India and learning from Babaji. It was a joyous meeting between two great souls. Take care not to hold prejudices that Jesus does not hold.

A small request, next time befor u'll answer try to achieve a proper understanding of both topic and terminology. U ask can Dharma feed, can dharma cure the blind, can dharma rise from dead? To be honest yes! About GOD, yes you are right, god do exist. Jesus is his son, but likewise are you and I. Jesus was just a men, so be it. We are all men and more then men, it just depends on our consciousnes. God, in whatever form exists, do not interfere in our life. He gave us law and hand.
Babaji is in Hades today because he died without Christ.

+OrthodoxTradition I saw your youtube page. Your videos all appear to be about scandals and evil. You share all this with the world. It is what comes out of you. Sri Ramakrishna said (I paraphrase) , a man who eats radishes for his meal also burps radishes. That which a person communicates to the world is a reflection of that persons mental state. May you leave behind these lower thoughts, which can not but harm you. May your mind be filled with devotion to the Lord, and nothing else.
