Thanks for the review. Bought this game a few years ago, was intending to play it with 2 people. Never played it. Been wanting to find a good solo RPG game. I am excited now to try it. I used to play D&D with my buddies back in the 80's, now we are scattered around the state, a couple of them have passed away. Really miss that. Like that this is tabletop with miniatures and dungeon tiles for the visual effect and rolling dice. Have never really got into all those card deck games, just doesn't feel the same to me. Thank you, appreciate your channel.
@jerseydvd: yes because they enter the game and activate after the hero phase, which is when you get to attack. so you can only attack monsters that entered the game in previous turns.
@HectorEliasOliver: thank you for the appreciation! I do believe the game is sold out now, but have you tried stores like Coolstuff, NobleKnight, EclecticZeal, NWS, etc? I saw that Coolstuff has a copy for $64.99.
Thank you SO much for these reviews. I recently began reading the Drizzt books and so I was very interested in the Drizzt board game. I LOVE DnD but hate the fact that I always have to DM since none of my friends are knowledgeable enough. With this, I can create general quests and let the game do the rest. My wife loves it, and I will be picking up Ashardalon and Ravenloft in the future. It's hard to find good reviews online so thank you.
Great review marco. I am also just playing this and find it to be brilliant fun; the most exciting aspect for me is the chance to add new rules and cards to the base set so easily to expand the adventure. I would also comment that this game is not for those who don't like to lose; the dungeon is brutal and the encounter cards can often destroy you by themselves without the enemies help!!! Next on my list; Hornet Leader; your playthrough convinced me to try this! Looking forward to it!=)
@MrBlairblack: the game can be played with 1-5 characters, so I don't see why players can't use multiple characters if they so wish. With four characters maneuvered by four players or four characters maneuvered by one or two players, the difficulty of the game is exactly the same. And trust me, it's fun that way too!
The review is amazing! But can you please tell me where can I find it? I would love to buy it but I don't find anywhere to do so, except for Amazon, selling it at over 120 dollars D:
if you can reply quickly out of Castle Ravenloft, This1 and the new legend of drizzt which do you think would be best? I have never played DnD and also never read any novels
hello, i was reading the rulebook and theres is a part called "deefeting a monster" what happens with the same monsters of the other players and the defeated one, i dont understanding it :S its like u discard the same monster if a other player has it, but dont go to the experience pile...
With the lack of dungeon master must make this game really good for team play and fast pace dungeon crawling. But whats the game like with the lack of DM, it seems that the mechanics fit pretty well but I believe I should ask first.
Love the 1080p quality :) I might pick this up to play solitaire. I really want a fantasy/RPG to play solo and also have the option to play with others. I am looking at the 3 DnD games in this series as well as some others.
GREAT REVIEW! If you don't mind, which of the 4 games in this series do you recommend to start with? Obviously they are awesome to combine, but it's difficult for a new comer to determine via online reviews etc which to start with, considering they do each seem to offer something a little different between them
RUTGERMORTENSEN thanks. I've now seen the reviews etc for the 5th. I was heavily considering that one "Tomb..." to get first as the tiles look very cool, varied, traps etc.
ok so I am playing the first mission solo and I am running all over the place dodging the last monster. If I have not finished a battle yet meaning the monsters have not did and I have not either do I go back to hero phase? IF so then I have to keep taking encounter damage eben though there r no tiles left to explore because I am trying to leave? OR do you fight until the battle ends and then go back to hero and exploration phase?
I just purchased this game yesterday. I really like it so far. :) Also, this is a very good review. You explain everything very well and are very concise about things. :D Far better than a lot of other reviews I've seen for this game on here.

Just ordered the game. Can't wait to play it (solo)!

from one Italian to another, I knew you were Italian just by the way you move your hands :D

Thanks for the review. Was thinking of buying this for my regular games night I hold. You have sold this to me and will be getting this now!

@rickman1945: the game works pretty well; the function of the DM is fulfilled by the cards, and the gameplauy works smoothly
You look like Valintino Rosi.....cool! Great review, cleared up all skepticism, really gonna get this now.
Great video. I played this game once years ago and it was epic. I love the accent and the video was well made.

Marco, I´ve just discovered your gaming reviews. You´re the best! Really, really good work!
thank you for the review, im having troubles deciding which one to buy - Arkham Horror or this. I think im gonna go with this cuz it takes less time.
HOLY SHIT! Thank you VERY MUCH for this amazingly detailed review!! This is exactly what I was looking for!
Thank you for this great overview! Was thinking of getting this and I am even more convinced I need it after seeing this! :D
@cuzza4321: I haven't played Drizzt; but between Ashardalon and Ravenloft I'd go for Ashardalon any day of the week!
Great review ! How would you compare this to Castle Ravenloft?
Great review as always. I enjoy being able to make a well informed purchase. Thanks!
The review is amazing! But can you please tell me where can I find it? I would love to buy it but I don't find anywhere to do so, except for Amazon, selling it at over 120 dollars D:
@notfriendlyyurrf: everything included, no need for anything extra!
If you like this game, you'll like the Ravenloft game Wizard of the Coast did in this format. Awesome review as always.
@kalo0791: you'll find out soon when I release my video review for it!!

very good review, a nice change that person actually pronounces words and not just mumbles something.... good review... have to look into the game..

Drizzt & Ashardalon!
best review of Wrath of Ashardalon!
BOTH!
One question - can you play with a dungeon master???
I guess you can, if you give the master control of the monsters. But there's no need, really.
Thanks for a very good review!
Love this game....great review.
What country are you from?
Great video!

NIce review man.
