Hi, I'm thinking of doing mech engineering at uni of edinburgh next year, but they don't have a year in industry programme. Would this be a reason not to go there? (they offer a semester placement and they said these can be extended into the summer)

Hey I'm gonna be stating a foundation year next year and then eventually progress to my aerospace degree.. but I'm worried adding a year in industry and doing an undergrad masters will make my degree wayyyyy too long (it would be a whole 6 years lol), so do you reccomend going for the 6 year MEng option or just do a 5 year BEng?
