Upon returning late a.m. I thought I'd read the headline wrong (TMZ scooping the entire world btw).
I thought it must have said: "Kobe Bryant's Dad (Joe) or something - NOT Kobe Bryant. Even when I re-read
it I thought I re-read it wrong. Took about 7-10 reads just to sink in. We were on the 118 (where Kobe flew over),
heading toward the 405 at about 7 a.m. Couldn't see 15 yards in front of ye. Lucky very little traffic in front
      or in back of us.

Mamba mentality. I had it and i didint know what it was. Its lonely at the top and so is the journey there when no one understands. No one can push u to be good at something. The drive has to come from within. Once i started watching youtube videos about kobe's work ethic and his opinions about why he works so hard, i didint feel alone anymore. I felt i could relate to him and his drive to be good at something even if it means sacrificing the things that other people value. Thats why they cant relate, cuz ur not like them. Now i realize that he was passing that measage to others to help them acheive their goals and thats what i want to do now. Thanks kobe. I never met u but u helped me feel not so alone and weird and in death ur helping me become a better human being.

Its amazing how great Kobe became at being a father, husband(after his mistakes) and mentor and how great Lebron has always been as a role model and father but the one who constantly gets put at the top was a terrible father, brother, and husband. Not trying to get into comparing given the circumstances but im just saying Kobe and Lebron are two AMAZING examples of how to juggle the sport and fame with family. Sad we lost on of them so soon just as his influence believe it or not was about to somehow get even broader.

@@David-oc7ni Yeah because there is only one Heaven?....... Per Norris's religion there is one Heaven, at least. If there is only one Heaven, then "The Heaven select Kobe" is grammatically correct. Sure, "The Heavens select Kobe" sounds better, but it's not grammatically correct. I think at least. Argue away bro.

What gentlemen. Even though matt barnes had his own issues with Kobe on the floor, what a great attitude and memories that he had with Kobe off the court. Kobe will be greatly missed, still feels like a dream.

The nba should change the nba logo to kobe Bryant I know how much the Michael Jordan people have wanted Jordan to be the nba logo and rightfully so and Jerry west in the past has said he wouldn't have a problem if they changed it kobe Bryant was the Michael Jordan of are generation it would be nice if they paid tribute by changing the nba logo to kobe Bryant 🙏❤

If Jordan passes away would they say change the logo they should have been change it , it's to late. What they should do is build a statue of Kobe outside the Lakers arena

I think it would be cool if Kobe was in the logo doing his fade away behind Jerry West and then you could just keep adding a defining great player of generations though the it would eventually and probably very quickly get too cluttered so idk, maybe change it every year or decade or something but I'd like to see them try to just add a few guys to it over the years starting with Kobe

Barnes is a genuine no-nonsense don't-give-a-fuck type of OG ..... that guy doesn't give complements just to go along with the flow ..... if he didn't regard Kobe as highly, he would simply say "I'm sad that he passed away, but to be honest, I personally didn't care for him much" .... for Barnes to say "we lost a superhero" says a lot about Bryant

I always feel like celebrities that give themselves to the public deserve to ride off in the sunset and live their life finally. He only had 3 years of that. My dream would have been Kobe living his life privately doing what he loves with his family and for someone to say 20 years from now "man, what ever happened to Kobe? Haven't seen him in the news for years."
