    great work, thank you for sharing. This type of thing is worth so much for those of us who are still learning and dont live close to an instructor. Thank you again. Love to watch this. Its hypnotic to me to watch and hear the hammer.

    The electric kiln will lead to much better heat treatment, especially as regards 1095.

    Bowie knife? Minimum length for a Bowie is 9”
    You made a very nice skinning/camp knife.

    • @Mysticmountainforge
      @Mysticmountainforge  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! I appreciate you watching! I believe it is a 3lb cross peen.

    • @StrayWolfForge
      @StrayWolfForge ปีที่แล้ว

      @Mysticmountainforge thanks for your response. Once I build my skill and accuracy with my current hammer I plan on getting a 3lb cross pein aswell.

    Where do you get your handle material. And what did u use on this knife.

    • @Mysticmountainforge
      @Mysticmountainforge  ปีที่แล้ว

      I buy handle material from knifemaking.com, popsknifesupply.com, and knifekits.com mainly. I used natural burlap minarets for this knife. I appreciate you watching!
