This is awesome, being an extra on this set was so much fun.
Must have been great. Were you filming in Georgia, or this season in Spain, or previously in Puerto Rico (aka Mexico 😅)? My daughter, 7 years old at the time, wanted to be an extra on the show because she got HOOKED! 😂 She even joined Tae Kwon Do because of the show and my little badass completed her black belt at age 10 last year. 💪 We got her a Cobra Kai gi that she wore to school back then. She asked me to message the producers to "shoot her shot" lol I actually got a response from Jon Hurwitz, saying if they filmed in Los Angeles it could have been done (we're in SoCal), but they unfortunately filmed in Georgia.

I digress,
We filmed most of the tournament and hotel stuff in Atlanta and the aquarium is actually the Georgia Aquarium with signs in Spanish lol,
It was such a fun time and all of the actors were great people. I was only filming for a week even though they wanted me back for more I had school stuff to worry about
@@logankofod6815 That's awesome! My daughter couldn't be an extra, but I got her to meet the cast at the season 5 premiere in Los Angeles back in 2022. We thought it was just an early showing of episodes 1 and 2, but the actors started coming out to the crowd. It was the best thing ever. They were all really nice, especially "Demetri", "Moon", "Kenny", "Miguel" and "Terry Silver". I got a chance to chat with Dallas Dupree (Kenny) and tell him I wish he becomes live-action Miles Morales; he fist bumped me, smiled, and said, "I hope so too!"
The actor who plays Daniel larusso he confirmed that him and Jackie Chan are going to be in the new karate kid movie together as well
I bet you ANYTHING, Jackie makes an appearance by the end of the season

If it wasn't for this being such a big stage tournament, what Devon did is not that bad. Compared to all the other shady bs and bullying we've seen on this show. Not saying what she did was justified, Kenny definitely deserved to go, but i personally think she would smoke Dimitri
