The fact that Aokiji joined him shows you that Blackbeard isn’t necessarily a monster, just a man with different goals and ideals. Imu however, is straight evil. He’s a monster to the world and needs to be taken out, I wouldn’t be surprised if Luffy and Blackbeard formed a temporary alliance towards this goal. And then the joy of digging through all the fake covers labelled "Imu/Lulusia OST" or something along those lines trying to find the real one! I swear we're back in the kazaa days
What makes this so much scarier is how Shepherd was telling the marines they heard nothing. They didn’t trace a single call. They never eavesdropped on anything, as imu continued to erase Lulusia Kingdom.
you know I heard a theory. you know how some people just have superior versions of various fruits? like snow < ice, fire < lava, etc. Imu may have the direct upgrade from Borsalino's fruit allowing him to control all versions of light. which also may explain the void century... Remember Foxy? he went into a some weird detail about his fruit they usually dont do unless its important... he said his powers worked by a previously unknown particle of LIGHT. thats right he may have used his power on the entire world for a century.
I'm not sure if that's theory's very valid. I mean, aside from the fact that what Imu used here was a weapon, not a DF power, it's also strongly implied that Imu's powers are more a Mythical Zoan than anything else. Like how Saint Jaygarcia Saturn of the Five Elders also seems to have a Mythical Zoan.
I mean, if you want minor spoilers... *SPOILERS* Vegapunk himself believes the same thing; that the OP world used to be a far better, more advanced place until the Void Century happened and the World Government was formed.

Imagine a different take on the scene where they didn't shown the disaster on screen, and didn't have the dramatic music to build up the tension, but they still retained the narrative of Imu and the Five Elders in a cold-blooded and menacing tone. Like, showing the Kingdom before its destruction during its heyday. Then, as some bystanders ventured forward through an oncoming storm, they see through the clearing of the storm's mist a hole left behind in the wake of the Kingdom's destruction. Toei did not disappoint with animating this. It really show cases how evil Emu and the Gorosei are.
Ah yes. The Butterfly Effect. Where a butterfly's wingflap turns into a nuke. As the old addage goes.
Now that you've mentioned it, this scene looks so much better for me now-
Wait a minute, this pfp... COULD YOU BE...?
the introduction we needed, everything was fantastic, the "Drums of Oppression", the voice acting, the animation, the directing, so far every glimpse we get of Imu every so many chapters, leaves us in disbelief and with so many more question
One of the best scenes in all of One Piece imo
Best Scenes ? I mean what a BS this is no the second time in Op where we saw nothing happen.
@@zerosusakuwtf are you talking about
@@barniehd8358
Nothing happend and what was this Video even about ? Lulusia such a Kingdom never existed.
Can't help but notice the happy face upon the Toei Cat in the corner, as he watches on, enjoying the pure destruction.
The air blowing through the trees the dog barking it really gives you the feeling of danger and death 0:01
This scene feels like straight outta the Old Testament
IMU: If you want to make me laugh, tell me about "your plans".
In the 2010s we got "who decided that?"
2020s we have *"there was no such country in the first place"*
This just solidified Imu as the final boss
For sure 😮
i don't know, my bet stays with blackbeard, even if Im looks like a bigger threat
I don’t think so 🤔
@@jacopocorradi7128Blackbeard is most likely the final boss😊
@@jacopocorradi7128 Blackbeard will be the final enemy before the one piece, imu will be after, because imu will be in the way of luffys final dream
I literally cannot wait to see the world reaction when they find out a monster like that is the supreme ruler of the world government
Frankly, I'm hoping that
*SPOILERS*
it's Vegapunk's contingency message that will expose Imu and the 5 Elders once and for all.
I still get goosebumps.. What an powerful scene, music, animation and voice-acting! "There was no such country in the first place" is a wicked mic drop but what does it for me is the way he says "Rurushia ōkoku?.." Brrrr.. shivers
Can’t wait till they release the official OST for this scene. Surely one of the best One Piece tracks of all time.
Do you think he has some mind control abilities or maybe he is a vampire like Saturn is demon spider ?
@@galactic_burger3594 well, does he really even need them? if hes being told that, questioning his orders is death.
the moment one piece took its darkest turn
2nd coldest is when Van Augur said "The World" to saturn. That scene in the anime needs to made cold af.
It's sad we will never know the truth behind every war
God, but the way the music just abruptly gets cut off in the middle of this scene without warning is just chilling though
There is No Easter Bunny there is No War in Ba Sing Se and there is No Kingdom of Lulusia
you know I heard a theory. you know how some people just have superior versions of various fruits? like snow < ice, fire < lava, etc.
There is now canonically at least one dog who has died in One Piece 😭
And now we realize The Buster call was the equivalent of giving your kid a nerf gun while you shoot 50 cals and bazookas in your backyard.
A moment of silence for all those poor innocent souls that perished.😢
Imu is terrifying and ruthless! Zero tolerance with snitches! I’m starting to suspect this world is a post-apocalyptic dystopia.
I mean, if you want minor spoilers...
*SPOILERS*
Vegapunk himself believes the same thing; that the OP world used to be a far better, more advanced place until the Void Century happened and the World Government was formed.
THEY NAILED THIS SCENE SO HARD HOLY🗣🐐🔥
Imu really said "There is no Lulusia in Ba Sing Se"
Imu did not speak
@@FlawlessWorldAceshe knows that
I can watch this scene a 1000 times and there will be chills. The most badass display of power I’ve ever seen in the anime thus far. From the dialogue of the 5 elders to transitioning with imu’s eyes and the butterfly. The animators cooked here.
This actually shows the real final boss of One Piece... so damn powerful Imu
Might still be Blackbeard, nothing is certain

@@RockefellersPersonalAccountantbro bb will join luffy if that's the enemy. Aokiji is not stupid he knows who the true enemy is thats why he joined bb
If he joined Luffy, it would be to defeat Imu and then backstab Luffy at the end setting him up as the final villain, but it wouldn't end with Blackbeard as a good guy@@xarmanhsh2981
All those people. Gone in an instant. Is the World Government’s heart truly that cold to others?!
It doesn't matter who Imu will turn out to be, how does they look like or how they acts. Every scene with Imu will contain such a huge tension because we will be fully aware that this one mysterious person is a big deal. This is such a great way to introduce a villain, with their actions. Oda can make Imu looking as goofy as he wants to, but after all this one character is still a tyrant who can slaugther the entire country and who is above everyone.
This is like rumbling level horrifying
Erasure of Lulusia Kingdom? That’s impossible, no such country existed in the first place…
By far this is the most brutal scene in whole One Piece history; I thought nothing was as savage as Ohara's genocide..
Even camera man didn't escape
That’s how you know it’s the real deal
They shouldn't have cut out the end where there is just a massive hole in the sea... That is what makes the viewer realize how powerful that attack is, it flat out deletes the island leaving a huge hole in the ocean.
they did, it cut away to koala asking what happened to sabo then cut away to the thing you're talking about
did.....did you not watch the episode?
i love how saying it never existed in the first place implies he just rewrote history instead of the destruction scene being more like *The Kingdom of Lulusia no longer exists* or *The Kingdom of Lulusia doesn't exist*
The strongest attack in one piece so far is a no named attack. Crazy.
Spoilers:
It's called The Mother Flame. It's a substance created by Vegapunk, supplied to the WG by York.
@@RazorBlade651 so that means that this isnt the ancient weapon uranus?
@@tectrixirMother Flame is implied to be an energy source and not the weapon itself. The WG had the (ancient?) weapon but Vegapunk provided the energy needed to use said weapon.

This is one of the BEST scenes from One Piece ever..
I feel bad for the people there. They were enjoying their lives and it instantly went from joyful to fear in about 10 seconds. This music adds to Imu as it shows him being so darn evil and remorseless for those ppl.
Add to that, the Gorosei probably have done this many times which makes it even more terrifying and cold blooded.
Buster Call is child's play compared to what Imu just did.
This is how you introduce a evil person/group that is known as the Gorosei and Imu.
I’ve been waiting almost a year maybe a year for this to be animated jesus they went all out on the quality here.
Anime watchers think this is dark but they have no idea whats in store for them 😂💀
This OST is so godly it makes my ears tremble by the shear sound of "Badass" it oozes.
Now this, *this* is how you introduce a villain
I’m actually glad we are finally getting to seeing more of the WG and the darkness that is behind the scenes. Too long and too often we forget that these guys are the most dominant villainous force in their world for a reason. Also seeing their crimes makes their inevitable fall all the more worth the wait. Lord knows I can’t wait to see Luffy/Nika vs Imu
Oh we're seeing more WG darkness this arc. This is a scratch of the surface.
@@ReiseLukas yes, I’m very well aware of what awaits us in this arc. Darkness at the top of the world seems to be the most appropriate description for what’s coming
@@grimjowchatham14 If the Devil ruled Heaven
@@ReiseLukas Seems kinda a dark mirror to our own world. Evil secretly ruling at the heights of power, and those old fossils at his feet doing what they can to enable his rule for their share of power.
Sometimes... Sometimes the anime does it better.
And then the roll credits roll without the drama music, just the ambience of the storm and the seas being heard as echos. It would truly be an eerie and dreadful experience.
the world govt version of "nothing happened"
man, i love how they made up kingdoms like lulusia to really give the effect that it never existed. truly a brilliant move by oda
Bustercall, omega level annihilation
most menacing theme of all time😭
One Piece just went from being One Piece to being like Attack on Titan & Dragon Ball in one little video.
