@@Jimglim it was the same logic that drops the ball if they don't hit it fast enough. I didn't test the map enough to know that it would freeze the ball 🥶
Hey Leth, I would love to see a map where the ball shifts from being tangible to intangible randomly. The players will go for a touch and suddenly go through it. I could also imagine the physics would go nuts if you were in the ball when it became tangible again.
sounds like ghost hits in normal rocket league just intentional XD
It would be really cool too if instead of being intangible, it cannot be moved anymore. So if you go for a touch the ball slings you around.

nice map, really fixes the overly punishing reads of the other vollyball map and cool that you can safely put the ball across the water

I got an idea for ya Leth, what about this same map, or any other one where you have to score inside the water. The idea here is to increase the inverted gravity by a TON, that way you need a minimum amount of speed on the ball to score. It would also LAUNCH the cars into outer space, which would make for some funny situations. I think it would atleast be a fun time, and definetly has potential for W content.❤
Having the ball randomly demo the player every so often could be cool. RNG on number of hits until all of a sudden WHAM ur demoed by ball instead of hitting it. Bombball ™️
How about rocket League therapy

Leth, The Finals just came out fully to the public! They fixed a lot of the major bugs and issues with movement and ads. They have more than double the amount of average players playing than cs2 and more than double cs2's peak players. I would really love to see you play it on your second channel!

I actually think a normal RL map in that general shape where the goals are elevated on ramp sections would be interesting to play on.
Also if you can figure out how to do it, Get a pro team as a 5th player who's goal it is to keep any team from scoring but they're also invisible to the players on the field.
There's an experimental map called Basin that is in exact shape as in this video, look it up
Not sure if it's available to load in free play, but it was online as an LTM a while ago
@@29scroller I've seen at least a couple videos since you brought it up but I was more thinking having the goals at the top of the "Stairs" and be a more extreme version of Badlands where the main bowl is deeper ala this map. Basin basically has the goals at the base of the bowl similar to the location of this map's pools

What if you played where the power of touches were inverted. So like 1kph touches zoom at 180kph and huge touches like bangs go nowhere. It’s easy to make the bal fly but if you’re having to touch softly then if gives the opponents time to defend. It’s similar to infiniball but instead of always getting faster it’s based on the current touch instead of the amount of them
