The Birdman/Guest is the Neighbours son, who he locked in the basement. He’s probably been there ever since he was locked up by the Neighbour/His Dad in the beginning of Hello Neighbour, Act 1, where he has stayed in the house and been taken care of by the Neighbour/His Dad ever since. The reason we know that it’s the Neighbours son is that if you’ve played, watched the cutscenes, or seen gameplay of Hello Neighbour Hide and Seek, you will know that he is the only person that could have been locked in the basement. We also know that it’s the Neighbours son, because there is a drawing of the Neighbours Daughter/His Sister, which wasn’t there in Act 1 or 2, which shows it was drawn afterwards. You will also notice that there is no drawing of the boy, which is because he has no reason to draw himself and only draws her as a reminder of how he remembers her, because he feels bad for causing her death, which we see in Hello Neighbour Hide and Seek. The last crucial reason that I’m going to list, which shows us it is the Neighbours son is that the Birdman/Guest wears a crow outfit, which if you’ve seen gameplay, just watched the cutscenes, or actually played Hello Neighbour Hide and Seek, you will know that in the game, at the end of lots of cutscenes, a crow lifts the Neighbours daughter/the Neighbours Son’s Sister away and into the next scene. The boy dresses as the Birdman/Guest/THE CROW to mask his identity because he’s ashamed of himself and to remind himself of his Sister because he misses her and feels terrible about what he’s done. There are many other Easter Eggs that point towards the Birdman/Guest/Crow being the Neighbours Son, they are just the main ones.
Hey Think, you were soo close to the end, here are the last things you need (No end spoilers). At the house with the tall boxes there is a rope on the front of the roof which you can get to by parkour if your way up, after that you attach it to the red part that hangs out from the roof of the neighbours house. During the ending look at the telephone pole there is someone/something there watching you that you may recognise.

My thoughts: Remember in the animated series when the neighbor was burying the doll, and the crows flew overhead and he was saying something that implied that the crows were his enemy, I think that the crows are something that will alert the Guest and the neighbor wants to kill him for locking him up, so he escaped to find the Guest, then thinks that the player is the Guest because that is where he was locked up and he sees the costume on the players hands, and maybe, he threw the mask in the furnace as a way of starting a ceremonial service for some sort of cult, but he gets the mask from you because he kills you as soon as you come out to see him and it says: You Win?

Hey Think, you’ve nearly finished it, but to trigger the ending you have to find a rope and attach it to the roof, then swing to the attic. Then pick up the crow costume and that’d trigger the ending. I suggest you watch a Devil Ninja video for more information.
