Void blade will instantly kill chests before they even go invulnerable. Probably placebo, but i find instantly 1 hitting them feels like I get more whites, instead of killing them using several hits and having them be alive for several seconds. Especially my warrior with barnacle basher + helm of exalted might + high attack armor and ring. Don''t know why, it just gets tons of whitebags compared to any other character. I use the Helm and instantly left click right after to combo the helm and flail at the same time to 1 hit the chests. Haven't opened much on my kensei with void blade yet so I don't know how well that does. The vault lag is caused from your vault or gift chest and the game loading the tons of items you have in there. The more items you looked at/loaded, the more laggy it gets. So try not to walk over them when you re-enter the vault.
