One of my favorite works. The Nocturne (mov. 3) is to die for.
Glad that public radio stations in the U.S. at least play this musical gem ! This wonderful suite seamlessly combines delicate, melancholic, pensive, lush, energetic, and colorful writing for strings !!! Love the harmonic language --I'd guess, a mixture of late Romanticism and Impressionism / "Pastoralism" !!! The effect on the emotions is immediate! What a great composer !!!
The last movement has some very nice harmonies.

Could I make you a suggestion?
I think it would be a very nice idea to do some works by female composers now that the 8th of March is the International Woman's Day. I know that you're busy so you haven't to do it if you can't, or you can do it for a couple days after the 8th of March.
If you accept it I can recommend you Rebecca Clarke Viola Sonata, Bacewicz Concerto for Strings for example.

Beautiful music, thanks for sharing!!! Unfortunately there are to many adds interrupting the parts, so it is not easy to enjoy the music completely.
I know it will seem like a clunky solution, but if you add uBlock Origin (this add-on works in a mobile browser too, I use Firefox) you will not get any ads...once I discovered this I disabled the app as it is basically worthless garbage now
since I use this service as my office "music' I buy TH-cam Red, only $8 per month. I haven't had an ad interrupt in 7 years. Been a great investment.

I always find it interesting that English music is just like English cuisine. When friends get together on Friday night nobody says "Let's go to an English restaurant." Did you ever wonder why that is?
Yes, the flavour of English cooking is far too delicate and understated for some peoples taste as are the melodies and harmonies of English pastoral music. Less is of more!!
