Too funny! I always figured Henry was looking for a girlfriend every season but he noticed SP was a boy so he just moved on. But I like your idea that Henry is an official royal babysitter who's not the least bit intimidated that his "babies" are 15X his size! He'll just hypnotize them with his snake neck dance if they get out of line! lol 😄

He doesn’t seem intimidated at all though like you said haha, it reminds me of channel I follow where this family had a magpie that’s known as the babysitter of some blue staffys, big dogs, and when they have puppies and stuff the magpie is like their aunt 😆, she also isn’t intimidated it’s like they know they’re just babies 😄

Speaking of that- I think most of the memories I have of seeing those little blue penguins, is of nighttime footage, and like I said that’s when they make all those weird noises too, I wonder if they’re nocturnal or something ? Haha those penguins better steer clear of big SP right now 😆, he’s not having anyone on his territory! Thanks L H for this video of SP well on his way to growing to fedgling size by early fall--A testament to his parents giving him 'Natural Grub" which includes Fish and fish and other marine oils , but stuff from the Parent's System as well. Hoping to dispense with the 'Last Min" wt supplementation stuff by Ranger staff, we watched last year--Beautiful view of him standing in his Family Nest--happy in his Albi World.

I've never seen Henry so close to a royal chick! And often s/he's cruising by at night, not so clearly seen. He is a beautiful bird, and looks downright *little* next to our sweet chunkyboy SP😊 (What was the nickname someone gave him? Fluffasaurus?) I've photographed lots of herons in and around Golden Gate Park in San Francisco - they're quite large!😊 Altho...🤔 they also don't look so big next to fledgling bald eagles either😅 Delightful video, Sharon, thank you, a Saturday Special🥰❤❤❤
