Hello, love your video.. I am moving from QB online to desktop, going off EB as of 12/31 I'm trying to enter fixed assets/machinery. How do I enter an asset that was paid by check but already included in my 12/31 bank balance to reflect in my current fixed assets?
When you put fixed assets in the Fixed Asset manager it actually does not post anything in QuickBooks. But everything should be done through a clearing account. Please email info@fourlane.com if you still need help!

How to enter the profit and loss accounts beginning balance in the mid-year
Usually you do either the year to date amounts or you post the monthly P&L amounts.
