      @@FTVIDE0 понятно. Очень жду когда откроют второй этаж. Или комнаты фавориток. Но, нет. Никто не выкладывает. Никак они их не реставрируют. А ведь дворец огромный ! Несколько сот комнат. А открыты с десяток. Раньше хоть хамам султана показывали. А теперь я так поняла и его закрыли.

    To those who are saying that the music is Arabic and not Turkish i would like to say, yes, the music is Arabic but it is not a big deal. I mean Turks and Arabs have a lot in common and have shared lots of things. Many of what we see in the video is not Turkish either , including the words written all over the walls, the title of the kings "sultan" etc etc all are pure Arabic language. I would like to remind everyone that true the Turkish culture is what the early nomadic Turkish tribes carried with them from central Asia to what's present day Turkey ,however, that early true Turkish culture has changed and has not been a pure Turkish culture since hundreds of years ago. Turkish people just like any other people have learned from other nations and have also taught others many things. I am not trying to put Turkish people down or anything, in fact, i respect the Turks and their culture, i am just being realistic. fascism and chauvinism..both are stupid.

    Il palazzo topkapi merita di essere visto nel suo complesso 300 stanze come pure i giardini ,non solo 4º 5 stanze. Per una persona che ama l l'estetica merita attenzione

    @donttry101 You don't any thing about Topkapı ... Topkapı ruled Egypt 500 years, Egypt didn't,
    you can see in Egypt Ottoman effect , like king faruk , he was ottoman governor grand son , egypt flag since 1950 like turkish flag ...but you can not see any thing about egypt "culture" in topkapı

    @mammaTurki ,
    your example of France & Japan isn't really valid. Turkey is a mid Eastern country who shares a lot of culture & history with it's neighbors. That includes , racial mixing, religion, art etc. The walls of the great topkapi confirm this. The Turks are originally proud nomadic tribes from central Asia.They did bring lots of culture with them but they also have learned from their neighbors. It is very obvious. The topkapi as well as the contemporary Turkish culture confirm this.
