The carbon did snap haha! Which is quite a feat in itself maybe my wing print wasn't as good which made the carbon the main load bearing thing? I'm not sure exactly yet, all I know is I pulled pretty hard on the elevator haha
@@locarshobbiesI would say it just needs more carbon. The plastic is so much more flexible than the carbon tube that it doesn't add much to the total strength. In other words, your execution of the print was just fine. If a thicker wall tube can be found that would help, or solid rod even better. The extra weight won't be that much of a problem on the slope, especially with a motor up front.
Yeah I think I might do the stacked carbon thing where I put a solid rod on the inside (6mm rod under the 8mm) there were some but only on the connection points so yeah definitely, thanks for the suggestions! ☺️☺️☺️
