I was sitting at my desk today and came across this clip. While listening the power of God fell in my office and I had to stop working and praise the Lord. Thank God for the real anointing of God this working in the earth right now!
Many old school apostolic holiness churches kept them separated because of temptations, lust, and I’m not sure but I believe the first church biblical was sitting separately
@dallaskenn. The women on stage to the right were the preacher wives and mothers and of course the men on stage are the pastors and ministers, the women on the right side of the congregation are the deacon wives and young minister's wives the three middle rows are some more mothers and middle age and young women and the men in the far left corner are the deacons and all the other men are the church brethern and to their right behind the women are where the young boys sat.
@MrPianoJohnson Thank you, that was very informative. I remember how I noticed this as a boy when my parents and I visited FTCOD back in 1975 when David Terrell preached there one night. The youngish caucasian lady in the center-middle pews was an acquaintance of my parents. I remember visiting her with my mom and sister but I've long forgotten her name. Do you know what her name was? Thanks again.
