Tech:
Sigret: Get her from the hunt challenge. Stack the most damage you can on her.
Adventurer Ras: Get him from his specialty change. He is just there to tank hits.
Iseria: Get her and her artifact from her banner which you unlock doing side stories.
Auxiliary Lots: Hope you have him. If not, jump in discord and as for people to rep aLots as a friend unit and speed tune it to your iseria speed and use this friend unit as your 4th unit.

excellent guide, i had no idea what to do on this one and this guide was so simple to do!! i also recommend for others if you have all the required units you should pick a knight supporter so even after ras dies Zio will still not target your main units.
Was told to check out your guide for beating Zio. I gotta say it's legit. Once you tune the gear you're set. After that it took a couple tries before I did it. Thanks for putting this up!

I remember i spent like an hour trying to do this fight the intended way. Kise Peira ARas (forgot the 4th unit) eventually worked out but man, one shotting him is so much easier

I tried about 100x before with other comps, I just brute forced it a couple of weeks ago with Tenebria, counter-Kayron, A-Ras and mascotte Hazel. but with this comp finally got it in about 3 tries.

As you can tell i'm lazy with the adventure haha. But your guide works perfectly at my first try, even though some debuffs weren't applied and Zio silence Iseria with the aoe -40% atk.

Thanks, I was able to finish this boss fight thanks to this setup. However, I used Red Lilias w/ Aurius instead of A.Ras which helped add damage at the start of the battle. Red Lilias needs be speed tuned a bit slower than A.Lots as she will cleanse and CR push herself with S2 after Lamp does its non-attack skill. If the turn order is correct, Red Lilias should be able to s3 (or s1 if you feel lucky) before Sigret. This allows Sigret to hit the 75% threshold easier for the extra attack.
I then followed the rest of the steps outlined in the video.
I'm sad. I was trying this fight with some different teams and couldn't find a good strategy. Then I saw your video and equipped my units with some higher end gear and just one shot him....... Lol thanks so much I thought it was going to be a lot harder but rage set made this video become a minute long xD. Thanks so much though, amazing video I appreciate the PvE guides

Hey, thanks a lot, managed to kill Zio after 10 tries using Sigret with symbol of unity on her 2nd combo, (25+50k damage). Cool strat i guess most people use those heroes. had not tried that for a long time, so a big thanks !

I don't have that artifact on my alt account, but i've got Tyrant's Descent! That, made at least +15, does 1% more damage if you have 4 debuffs on the target without the enemy having 50+% hp left. Also the more debuffs, the higher the damage!

Oi. I have no idea what happened, if I was an idiot and maybe accidentally "sold" it, but for some reason I don't have that Prelude to a New Era artifact. Looking in my collection, its not greyed out so I DID have it at one point. But I cannot find it in my artifact list at all.
Thus when I fight Zio by the time Sigret comes around and I hit him twice, in total I'm only doing like 20% of his life in that attack round. Is there anything else I could use instead??
6:24 I figured something out as to what my problem is: I cant get Iseria's debuffs to stick. Do I gotta increase effectiveness or something?

So I’ve looked around and no one seems to have discussed the Rage vs attack set bonuses and which is most likely to give consistent higher damage.
Now I would assume that rage will give the higher damage was it’s all your damage not just boosting attack but I know games can sometimes be a bit funky with how they work out numbers 🙄 I was also thinking it could make an interesting video at some point as if I have the question and can’t find the answer surely overs must have the same question.
It's funny I did exactly this 3 weeks ago but I used furious instead of iseria since mine wasn't built.
I try to follow that ideas but nothing working. I been at it last night to afternoon. I honestly giving up
Any other good mage units to use besides A lots I can never seem to pull for him and i dont have many mage units
Try to have a friend/guildmate set him as a supporter with Tags book and speed tuned where you need him to be. Then draft the other 3 units and leave the 4th spot empty. Their aLots will fill in that spot. This weekend is free unequip so its a good time to arrange that :)

The way I did this was so scuffed lol. I had a barely passable torrent set on sigret. I didn't have A lots so my team was sigret, politis, yuna and iseria. I also had my friends backup as LQC lol. Anyways I had to reset like 100 times to get the perfect run to pseudo oneshot him. It was worth it tho

@Tristen Wulf Had to reset everytime zio didn't target politis in the beginning. Then reset if he silenced a unit or one of the adds pushed an important person back. Then I had to reset if sigret didn't crit with her s2 s3 combo lmao. It was far too many layers but it worked
Zio cr pushes himself and then clears his debuffs. Any tips?
I had a very hard time with the chairwoman during her time. I ended up doing 1 dps, 3 soul weaver... I probably ended that fight after an hour since my dps doesn't really have a damage XD

One month later and still getting smoked by this fight. I cannot get a second round with debuffs. This is the worst case of inflated content since the old NES days.
I did it like the video but the boss always hit after Iseria after that the debuff will cancel i have more speed than you have

Unfortunately this is significantly harder without those artifacts on sigret, DDJ with a okayish rage set is only barely enough if you land all 5 debuffs
If i find an easier way i will post it.
I used a +15 Samsara Prayer Beads with a rage set and it worked fine, with two debuffs she was able to reach the 40% threshold easily (4097 atk, 95% cc, 304% Cdmg, 35% Eff)

Kise or Luna or Clorina could work if you have them. Kise abit harder though imo. I only try to beat him with sigret and clorina
