Less that she 'controlled' the bullet and more that by putting the shield to surround Maddie the bullet would ricochet to kill Maddie eventually, she trapped her.

And if you pay close attention to the montage of ekko and jinx building the time machine, a split screen separates powder and ekko as if they were actually working on it at different times (like powder recreating the device after ekko left) and deceiver is the nickname of one of League's characters called LeBlanc... Who is a huge part of the story of Noxus. Same with the 3 eyed crows, which are powers related to another League character and leader of Noxus, Swain.
There are quite a few hints towards the end that Jinx is alive - and that she took the opportunity to do what "Silco" talked about.. walking away. One.. the shimmery reddish flash heading away from the explosion - two, Caitlyn examining the ventilation system of the area that Jinx "died" in.. they found the bomb fragments, but not any bodily remains apparently... and finally: in the very first episode Powder said that one day she'd fly in one of those blimp ships.. and a blimp heading away for parts unknown just happens to be the very last shot of the series. Jinx 100% is alive. When her bomb goes off you see a pink lightning streak shoot away from it, it shows Caitlin examining the tunnels where she fell because they never recovered her body, and the last shot of the show is the same exact airship Powder said she would “ride one day” with her first line of season 1 episode one + the Jinx font “The End” text right after. The creators are very deliberate with their details. There is no shot they would include all that if she was really dead.

Doesn’t really need to be spelt out with a confirmation. This isn’t like film where details can be overlooked or even accidental. This is animation where every detail is included intentionally frame by frame. The writers of this show have an absurd level of attention to detail while also using quiet details to add more context to their story. The fact they included all three of these details is confirmation enough to me. Jinx misunderstands the Silco hallucination at first and thinks she has to die to break the cycle. Echo stops her. Then Vi almost dies and for moment Jinx slides back into the suicidal ideation in order to save her. Then Jinx realizes she doesn’t need to die to break the cycle but can just leave, like Vi originally suggested in season one episode eight. She had to defeat Vander first, and she also thinks Vi won’t be able to be truly happy if she is still around, but when she came in with the fireflies to save the day she realized she can actually do good in the world and isn’t just a force for destruction.

There is actually a pretty cool interpretation why Ekko was able to fight it: Viktor shows everyone a perfect, pieceful world (that's when the eyes turn yellow). Ekko saw his perfect world already in the alternate timeline, so he is much harder to control.

Regarding Maddie, it's been sorta foreshadowed somewhat. Firstly, back when Caitlyn was leading her strike team down in the Undercity, hunting Jinx, Salo briefly mentioned that all he was able to do to spend his day is to waiting for updates on Caitlyn's progress; which would mean someone within the strike team was leaking information to Ambessa and Salo. Likewise, when Vi and Caitlyn were arguing in Episode 8, Maddie could be seen eavesdropping on the conversation. While we might initially assume she was being jealous and wanting to find out about their relationship, that wasn't what the conversation turned out to be about. Instead, Vi and Caitlyn were talking about Jinx; with Maddie trying to work out whether Jinx was still in play.

The talisman is speculated to be "kaenic rookern" an item in the game that gives you resistance to magic damage. It only really works against hextech and arcane attacks since we see Caitlyn's bullet still graze her face. It just lessens the impact of the hextech powered bullet. Maddie's gun isn't powered by hextech so it should go through but I doubt Mel intentionally meant the trajectory of the bullet to begin with. She just made a spherical barrier around Maddie and eventually it'll hit her. There's isn't much thought behind it.

Viktor was the one who gave Jayce the acceleration rune that made it possible for Ekko and Heimerdinger to make the time manipulation device and Viktor and Jayce destroyed the anomaly. And to be fair, Viktor wanted to help people just like he wanted from the very start. His goal was to heal people and making a peaceful, warless and painless existence for humanity possible and it wasn't until Jayce almost killed him instead of trying to talk to him, that he came to the realisation that humanity will always be doomed by their emotions and that war, greed and suffering will never end because of that (not blaming Jayce here btw, they were both corrupted by the Hexcore).
@WolfODonnelfan Yeah, and Viktor was also most likely corrupted by the Hexcore, considering how he was literally connected to it after the explosion at the council and how his eye colour and personality changed after he woke up from his coma. Though, he did keep some of his humanity even after his transformation. He still held onto the blanked that Jayce gave him when he left, even in his Herald and godlike form, he was still glad to see Jayce when they met again and ultimately came to regret the evolution, even if his motivation was to help people and to give them better lives.

Ekko going too far back doesn't damage him but everyone else around him. Thats why heimerdinger's head popped while he was fine. They consider it a season finale since it's the end of the story between Piltover and Zaun. The next story will be taking place somewhere else. It'll be weird to still call it Arcane when it's no longer gonna be the macguffin of the story. Keep in mind that the world of league of legends is pretty big and Piltover and Zaun is one of the smaller nations.
Low-key the - Viktor was the mage at the start - angle was dumb , felt very ret con like. As someone who plays the game, the mage at the start showed various things that clearly painted him as Ryze (another in game character). Sure it could be argued to be a misdirection but like no.. the mage at the start having the world runes , casting exactly Ryzes ult , teleport , I may be incorrect in this and misremembering but I could have sworn we got a heavily shrouded face shown and beard shown which we know is Ryze; by shape and everything they just decided to give Viktor a beard to fix tht.

In this scene the mage has long nails , Viktor in his scene with jayce in the other dimension or timeline what have you does not. Perhaps the above are editorial mistakes ? DAMN!! this episode was outstandingly great! And 11:54 jinx looks IS OUTRAGEOUSLY FIRE !! ( and she is most likely became my most favorite cool female character , next to ruby rose from rwby ) And 9:23 maddie death was nice 👍! And the death of vander , isha , jayce and viktor was so BEAUTIFUL AND SAD at the same time!😔 and most of all, so is jinx 😢 . I wanted her to live , most of all , she was a cool and a great character! I'll miss her .😭 But overall this show is most certainly one of my favorite! And this ending was good imo.
Noxus, Ionia, and Demacia (and I think they mention Bilgewater too later) for the next spinoff locations. People theorize that Jinx could be headed to Demacia or Bilgewater. Maybe we will get a cameo or mention or something in the future.

About "this is it"? Yes, there's still much open, but from a character perspective it's really done. The sisters and the hexbros. That's the story. The Jinx blowup at the end might seem a litthe short, but there's all the full circles in there: It began with Powder harming everyone trying to help. Now she tries to help and actually succeeds. But now she takes herself out instead of those she's trying to help. Also, there's the "Powder/Jinx falls and Vi catches her" again, just as in E1 on the roof. There are actually parallel shots: When Vi holds Warwicks face, Jinx looks down on her worriedly. That is a parallel to Powder looking down the roof in E1. It's the exact same shot. So she gets her redemtion. She goes from "not a fighter" to very much a fighter. She goes from jinxing everything to helping out her sister. She goes from needing protection to giving protection and she goes from being helped up on the roof (after the jump) to deciding to let go and fall. It's kind of the fullest circle I've ever seen ;)

I don't think Mel controlled the bullet that killed Maddie. She put up a shield "bubble" and it just bounced around in it.

It only really works against hextech and arcane attacks since we see Caitlyn's bullet still graze her face. It just lessens the impact of the hextech powered bullet. Maddie's gun isn't powered by hextech so it should go through but I doubt Mel intentionally meant the trajectory of the bullet to begin with. She just made a spherical barrier around Maddie and eventually it'll hit her. There's isn't much thought behind it.

And to be fair, Viktor wanted to help people just like he wanted from the very start. His goal was to heal people and making a peaceful, warless and painless existence for humanity possible and it wasn't until Jayce almost killed him instead of trying to talk to him, that he came to the realisation that humanity will always be doomed by their emotions and that war, greed and suffering will never end because of that (not blaming Jayce here btw, they were both corrupted by the Hexcore).
@WolfODonnelfan Yeah, and Viktor was also most likely corrupted by the Hexcore, considering how he was literally connected to it after the explosion at the council and how his eye colour and personality changed after he woke up from his coma.
Though, he did keep some of his humanity even after his transformation. He still held onto the blanked that Jayce gave him when he left, even in his Herald and godlike form, he was still glad to see Jayce when they met again and ultimately came to regret the evolution, even if his motivation was to help people and to give them better lives.

They consider it a season finale since it's the end of the story between Piltover and Zaun. The next story will be taking place somewhere else. It'll be weird to still call it Arcane when it's no longer gonna be the macguffin of the story. Low-key the - Viktor was the mage at the start - angle was dumb , felt very ret con like. As someone who plays the game, the mage at the start showed various things that clearly painted him as Ryze (another in game character).
Sure it could be argued to be a misdirection but like no.. the mage at the start having the world runes , casting exactly Ryzes ult , teleport , I may be incorrect in this and misremembering but I could have sworn we got a heavily shrouded face shown and beard shown which we know is Ryze; by shape and everything they just decided to give Viktor a beard to fix tht.

Edit: Yeah re-watching the scene of kid jayce meeting the mage for the first time it's painfully obvious the differences , there is a beard and partial face highlighted by the magic being cast, the motions of casting are wide and feel Ryze coded imo , Viktor mostly stands still when doing anything. In this scene the mage has long nails , Viktor in his scene with jayce in the other dimension or timeline what have you does not.

The Jinx blowup at the end might seem a litthe short, but there's all the full circles in there:
It began with Powder harming everyone trying to help. Now she tries to help and actually succeeds. But now she takes herself out instead of those she's trying to help.
Also, there's the "Powder/Jinx falls and Vi catches her" again, just as in E1 on the roof. There are actually parallel shots: When Vi holds Warwicks face, Jinx looks down on her worriedly. That is a parallel to Powder looking down the roof in E1. It's the exact same shot.
So she gets her redemtion. She goes from "not a fighter" to very much a fighter. She goes from jinxing everything to helping out her sister. She goes from needing protection to giving protection and she goes from being helped up on the roof (after the jump) to deciding to let go and fall. It's kind of the fullest circle I've ever seen ;)
