    You really have to have patience for that plant.It very beautiful and interesting I have the Buddha belly.What others do you recommend? Happy growing and stay safe.

      Oh wow the buddha belly is so cute! this is my first type of this plant but stephania venosa is another one I've seen

      Just get it from Etsy. Once you got it sprout, it grows really fast. So not that bad

    I am on the same journey with you! Trying to wake up my dirty potato. I do see a small green growth point poking out now. It's so exciting! I really enjoyed the format of this video :)

    Caudex plants - I had never had one of these before so it is great to see you have one so I could watch & learn. Looks like they may require more light then I can give them. 🤔🪴

      Omg patience is key! yours will definitely sprout soon. The pot is a self watering pot from amazon, comes with the glass vase and the terracotta pot. Link in my description!

    thanks for the information that it takes such long period just to grow sprout.
    i found a subspecies (venosa) during my holiday trip to west java..put it on a pot for almost 2 weeks and still no sprout yet. started to worry that it might die.

    Mine came in with growth and then it died off which I said was due for the winter. Well it’s now sprouted but it’s taking forever for it to grow. Also no roots on mine as well.

      I check it once a week, the clear glass helps a lot. The mats on Amazon, I linked it on my Amazon shop. Link in description 💚

    Great video - thanks for making it. Just curious how you current set-up (the glass container with water) is working for you? My 2 sprouted on the same day after 153 days and I had just changed it to a very gritty mix so they definitely liked that - the water set-up your using looks interesting and I want to try it. Are you still using the same set-up a month since your video?

      can be bought online from shopee, cause i have stephania nova from online and erecta can be found easily in shopee or online platform

    Mine took 3 weeks to sprout. On a heat mat in a plastic freezer bag. Simple

    Mine is sprouting too, but where the leaves are forming there are black spots, as if the plant is too dry (which is not the case). Does anyone know why this is?

      That happens to me too. those black spots are the shriveled up leaves right? I think its the humidity level or air circulation. I have another update video coming up this week! stay tuned!

      @@FelineJungle I red on another website that these are the flowers that are supposed to dry up and fall off before the leaves turn up. I'll just wait and see. Thanks!

    This is not at all correct information. My new bulb sprouted within weeks time, and has shot out over 40 leaves in just over a months time. Its thriving in a non humid environment.

    Do you have clog nose? You sounds like have acute cold or sinusitis.
