This is what black metal originally sounded like. Yes it sounds like punk.. many of the oldskool bands too influence from such greats as The Exploited and Warfare. Mayhem for example, the first demo I believe contained covers of Venom, Motorhead, Judas Priest and The Exploited. This IS black metal. Just not as you know it.
