The referee was shocking taking a point off Taylor when mcaskil was fighting dirty the whole match.

yep, thats what i saw. sooooo much deliberate holding by mcaskill long before that point was madly taken off Taylor....absolutely mad!!! mcaskill is crazy, a scrapper who does nothing for the skill of boxing at all

Taylor dominated the fight. McCaskill landed a few shots, but was outclassed by Taylor's boxing skills. The referee can retire any time.

Not True, those fighters you mentiond ,mcCaskil went down in weight..she is not heavy hitter...Serrano has more wins and Ko then all of them fighters you just mentioned..Imo Persoon beat KT the first time..KT can get Stopped shr gets hit ALOT!

You do realise jonas went up to 154 and knocked a girl out? Serrano doing the same yea? Serrano mainly stops smaller girls but she does have good power

Katie has speed and power and experince to keep away from trouble but she does alot tying up or running away from boxing her opponent shes not a boxer but a point scorer and thats what the judges look at
McCaskill got away with acting like a rodeo contestant and gets no penalty. Katie gets her back and gets penalty. Sorry refereeing.

disgustin debacle of a fight. Mcaskill is rough, a scrapper, no skill at all. breaks rules holding- but get no points off her, at least 3 times did not obey the referee...but he did nothing . Is he racist here - anti-irish...needs investigation -he definitely need checking out

This fight was closer than what those judges scored! McCaskill was in a very hostile environment and took the fight to Taylor! Katie deserved the decision, but it was way closer than what the judges scored! The reason why the ref took that point was, he kept warning Katie about holding and then she held and was punching while she was holding! That's what Jessica was saying about the decision. She was questioning the distance in the scoring, not losing the fight! She was correct in saying that!

McCaskill boxing skills is not that good 😒
this was 4 1/2 years ago when mccaskill only had 6 pro fights and not much amateur experience, a novice. she has all the titles at welter now so she has improved.

@@enrique6391 i thought mccaskill was lucky to get that decision in the first match with a diminished braekhus. i don't see who is going to argue the difference between mccaskill now and when she fought taylor, though. mccaskill has gotten much better.

after the taylor fight, mccaskill beat farias twice, sanchez, and braek at the tail end of her career. all of those would beat jonas. the last girl mccaskill beat (won every round before stopping her) is as good or better than anyone jonas has beaten.
why would mccaskill who is undisputed at welter go down and fight someone who lost 3 times in the next lower division (camara) whose only good win was over a 39 year old featherweight?
